I do relate to most of these traits shown except for the whole reliving good memories things because with me, I just remember all the hard stuff I had to do my entire life and I generally think that the past sucks because I have a lot of bad memories associated with it. Even though I did get ISTJ when I first tested it out, I equally show signs of Thinking and Feeling all at the same time as someone who's a highly sensitive person. I was also raised in the believe that actions speak louder than words and that I was told that God gave us two ears and one mouth so that we would listen more and talk less. So it's not like I constantly express my emotions with words so much as I constantly show it through actions and being attentive towards those around me to show how grateful I am with the life that I have, even though it has been a really hard life that I wouldn't want anyone else to have.

I am confused about myself. I have done 3 times of MBTI tests in 3 years. In 2020, the result shows that I was an ISTJ, while in 2021, the result shows that I was an ISTP. Recently in 2022, I have done another test and the result shows that I am an ISTJ.
However, I am not really getting a sense of achievement or satisfaction from doing meaningless repetitive things. I often think about the meaning of life and where should I head to.
If referring to this video, I am actually not good in point 3 and point 4. and sometimes I act emotionally rather than logically. especially when I'm very stressed.
I am getting really lost here. It's like the test results are telling me that it's a very high possibility that I'm an ISTJ, but I feel myself doesn't fit some of the ISTJ traits. Really appreciate it if someone can help to clear my thoughts.

Honestly, I think i got ISTJ as a personality type is because I put a lot of I don't care on politics. oops tho I still relate to ISTJ cause when I think about it, it makes sense. I would do better when I put everything on an agenda and time it, the whole verbal affection. yeah not my thing, I tend to speak up and become the leader of a group that won't say a word, the whole keeping my word oh most definitely, the remembering every detail. meh probably I don't have a lot (probably one but we're not that close. I'd like to get closer tho) of friends but when i was younger i definitely had more friends and memories lol. Oh and holding back on new things. oh my goodness yes it's such a big problem and I hate it.

Im pretty sure the reason there is not much info on us is because we ISTJs are usually working on something more important than looking this stuff up. The only reason I am aware of this stuff is because my professor made an assignment to take this test in order to understand each other better.
I always noticed we are labeled boring, and I think so as well, but as I share more about myself people around me say Im one of the most interesting people theyve met but I still doubt it because Im just being myself and do these things for myself and not to be validated by others lol

Moving on: i remember being told by my first real anf bestfriend to this day. That i could stay at his for the whole springbreak to get away from my home, and i remember playing games staying up til late watching him play talking crap about our dumb and rude classmates and it just felt so precious Because for the first time for as long as i can remember i felt safe and like i didn't have to pretend

I'm a mathematics student on the fourth semester and started this week my volunteer jib to teach 15 years old teenagers, but sincerely, I felt EXTREMELY demotivated, anxious and started overthinking about my future carrer, because my first classes were disastrous.
Maybe I'm gonna focus in Applied Mathematics in the future, so I can work in companies, maybe it's more appropriate to ISTJ-T personality.
What do you all think?
Is teaching appropriate for ISTJ?
Am I rushing my decisions and thought too much?

istj female here. whenever my mom- who is emotional! gets carried away by family drama, i say OK let's break it down. and if we think logically about it. haha. I dont jam with the memory points tho-- dont think about the past much and dont care; i dont really reminisce at all. maybe because it hurts too much. i try to stay future-focused. i like videos and comments on ISTJ -- makes me feel connected to something without having to have the human interaction =) thanks

Now I know why it's hard for me to express my love by simply say I love you like, it's so difficult to say it and say it like Iean it. It's just words to me even when I say it even though I love the person. My eyes are open. I totally do things to show love but I didn't think I was normal for not being to use words to show it better

i took the test about a month ago, and got istj%. it told me some things about myself that others share, and made me feel less alone in how i process things. i'm trying to be more understanding of people and be emotionally available and vulnerable. thanks Psych2Go for the videos! they are more of a help than you know!

There is simply no way this is the most common personality type. Also, pragmatic is the more accurate description of Te.
Edit: Okay the video said it was the most common type. But now I see that the title says most common INTROVERTED type. Yes, that is believable.

When I took the test the first time, I got ISTJ. But then I noticed that the ISTJ functions do not actually align with how I am, and then I realized that I answered based off of what the idealized version of me was. So, yeah, disappointed that I'm not truly an ISTJ.

I took the 16 personalities test and got ISTP, someone told me that it really wasnt accurate then sent me one that was suppose to be accurate. When I took that one I got ISTJ and it did describe me pretty well.

I was surprised to see that memory was a trait for us ISTJ. My friends always called me out for my brilliant memory. I would always recall small events in detail even when I was just a toddler. Amazing video!

I scored 5 out of 7. According to tests that I took a year ago I'm INFP and INTP. But I thought ISTJ was related to me, so I feel more like ISTJ. I don't know really.
