Some of these comments are kind of proving the reason why videos like this a so needed, for most men its damn near impossible to talk about this sort of thing without there being an imediate backlash from feminists who have somehow convinced themselvs that acknowledging male abuse victims somehow hurts women.

Men always have and they always will cause all types of abuse more than they will ever receive abuse and Im starting to believe that there is an organized conspiracy to silence womens voices by men claiming to be domestic abuse survivors. This rhetoric that not only can it happen to anyone, which is true, but that it does happen in equal numbers is disgusting and completely unbelievable. Unless what were now saying is that when an abused woman starts fighting for herself, she has just now become an abuser, which is essentially what Amber Heard was just told. Do you know where that leaves us? The only thing you can safely do is dont marry men, dont get into relationships with men, dont date them, its not safe, and if they hurt you, you will not be believed unless youre dead, and even then, as was recently proven in the public reaction to a case in which a woman in Queens, New York was murdered by somebody alleged to be her on-again off-again boyfriend, your behavior had better be perfect, or the lovely public will still blame you, the woman, even after you die.
I refuse to believe they dont realize how toxic of a mindset this is.

As you were doing the research for this You Tube I'm sure found very little research on abusive females or their male victms. That's because the domestic violence narrative was created by Feminist in the 1960's who insisted domestic violence was rooted in patriarchy, men's use of power, male privilege, and male entitlement. They argued that violent women were acting in self defense, or being victims of gender bias reporting biases. In other words women can't be the initiators of violence. Psychologists, social workers, counselors and other mental health professionals have denied the realities of male victims of abusive females by not producing research or treatment models for abused men. And where is the research on abusive women? It's time Psychologists and other mental health professionals admit their own denial of this issue and start producing research so abusive women will be held accountable for their behaviors.

One of the kids at the apartment complex I grew up at was being abused by his uncle, he had him pinned to the road connecting the complex to the rest of the town. A bystander, seeing this, called the police. When the police arrived there was a crowd of witnesses, being half of the residents there, due to how quickly the word spread. One of the officers were questioning a few of the people there, they all told him the same story, that his uncle was pinning him to the ground, to the point that he could barely breath, and was very much going to injure his nephew. The officer then checked the boy for any marks, which he could not find, since he was being held down, and not hit. He told everyone there that if there aren't any marks being left, it's not abuse. It sickens me to think that I am forced to live in a world with people such as this.

If you actually paid attention to the trial and the UK court case they both were absolute cunts to one another. The fact people are walking away actually supporting Depp shows just how great the pr team he hired is.
He's friends with well known abusers like Marilyn Manson and has another court case coming up because he assaulted someone. His exes have said he was controlling and to top it off most if not all of his exes were in their teens to early 20s even now when he's hit his 50s. He dated Winona Ryder when she was 17. Depp is a straight weirdo.
They're both awful people and neither of them should be praised or supported.

Men's human rights have been denied to enforce toxic masculinity, which claims women should receive positive discrimination in all areas of life. You can't talk about equality and force negative discrimination on men at all times. That's hipocricy plain and simple. Feminism today, only exists to give toxic women a free pass on all occasions. On one hand you have democratic values on the other you have a radicalised ideology of hate called feminism. If society allows the latter to infiltrate its system further, it is heading for a downfall.

I love a lot of these comments are like should take it like a man or he is not a man because he got abused by a woman that's the mentality that poison society. No human being should be abused period. We need to fix our society, this is why men have bigger suicide rates than women. We you are a man you're not suppose to say or show how you feel because for some reason that's a thing. I never understood who made up these rules. Our society is toxic af we need to build s better world and it starts with us

#4 is pretty powerful because that's another reason why men don't call the police. If a woman slaps us, it doesn't necessarily leave a mark. I've seen firsthand where a woman attacked a man, the police were called, and he was arrested even though she was the aggressor. Because at the end of the day nobody is going to be upset with a man being arrested for DV, so it's like, no matter the situation, the man still gets removed from the home. We almost have no choice but to take it.

The trial was very liberating. The way she said to him Go on, report it, no one will believe you. was such a reminder of my abuser and the way he acted towards me and his own violence, to see the jury believe him and also for all the memes calling it out, certainly felt like men could say What about Johnny depp? to people who are just too lazy and insecure to think outside of nasty traditions.
And people wonder why the suicide rates of men are so high =/

Frankly speaking as a boy, I 've abused by my father. from more than 10 years ago. He frequently came back home drunken. Usually, situations end after considerable amounts of nags, but there were worst moments when he argued with my mom about divorce and shouted at me. He did that even when I became sensitive due to exam. I once cried when he did that. They were so painful nightmares I even don't want to imagine.

Thank you for making this. This is so important. Saying that males cannot be abused by females is misandric, and that is unacceptable. Any type of human can be a perpetrator of victim of abuse, and it is never okay.
I'd also like to add how I feel the issue of violence against males gets perpetrated a lot in entertainment by using females hitting males for comedic effect.

Another common reason why male abuse victims don't report their abuse is because they believe no one will believe them and that society will put them down for lying and attention seeking. Society will blame them instead of the abuser. It's sad that first we had top fight for women's rights, and now men. Society will never end it's double standards.

Rock,
I'd like to stress out another point: these days, we all know about WOKE femenism: SOME women are saying that they want equality, yet they ALSO SUPPOSEDLY want men to be the weaker gender. An example: let's say that a woman wants to live at equal terms with her husband. Therefore, no matter which person hits, the punishment should be. guess. EQUAL.

Violence happens and when it does self defense should happen to, of course with in reason. If someone hits you you can hit them back but if they are on the ground dont go after them. The purpose is to show you can defend against them
Not to beat them up because they hot you once. Now if they person had a weapon its a different story.

Real talk if you're a man you should just keep it to yourself everybody will tell you to go to therapy which makes no sense your family should help you but thats not what happens because they expect men to have no feelings as a man you'll even get laughed at for being molested literally nobody cares we just have to live in hell

With regard to the myths
#4 is a tough one. If you can tell that your partner was trying to hurt you, but even though they tried, they were unable is that still abuse?
It might not leave a physical mark, but it sure can leave an emotional mark.

You know whats sad is that this video doesnt have nearly as many views as the other videos (sitting at 66k views. My opinion is that most people dont care about men and the problems they face, being hated by society just because youre born a man

The fact that we need to validate the trauma of a real person because everyone wont, The trauma of an actual human being, is disgusting. We should'nt have even gotten to this point where we have to tell people that men can feel feelings.

Thank you so much for this. I am a cisgender woman who has never experienced abuse in my life, but this needs to be said really badly.
P. S. Since I know I might recieve backlash, let me be clear I do not mean to be rude or anything.

Honestly the point about violence is wrong cause that disregards abuse victims that are not pure or in cases where the persons being psychologically abused and find themselves snapping it leaves people open to being blame shifted.

I wish I heard this in 2018-2020. I wish I knew what I went through in my previous relationship right when it happened instead of a year later realizing it was abuse. No one should go through thisespecially men.

It's sad how low the views are on this video.
Some people in the comment even try to debunk this.
Kinda sad that even being abused is gatekeeped. Some people just want to be the victims and have the attention.

I really appreciate that you guys recognize male abuse victims. As a society we need to raise awareness for these poor men who aren't being heard and help them any way we can. Abuse has no gender. #mentoo
