I try to apply what I see in you videos because I only look at them when I am most desperate only to be crippled by the helpless futility of my efforts to fix the broken emptiness in my soul. I don't know a always come back at my lowest and most vulnerable only to get the next Psch2Blow to the gut but for some reason my desperate thoughts fills me with false hope. this will be different give them another chance open up; open you heart. I know you want to help but please try to be more realistic. We need to fix our problems not pacify the mind.

I'm so lost on my situation, I have a friend I've had for years she's very kind and pretty and sweet, we worked together years ago but I left that company, I had admitted to liking her after I left because I didn't know if we'd have time to hang out and didn't wanna leave it unsaid, she thought it was sweet but wasn't ready for a relationship then, but the past year or so I feel closer she's stayed over at my place 2 times both time in my bed with me, she's shared her past bad relationship with me, told me personal stuff, and seems like she loves spending time together, her and I talked recently, shes way up north rn and when she gets back she said we should go have fun out of town maybe go bowling or s movie or something and then maybe stay at my place s night or 2 she said that sounds good but idk if she's just being a kind friend or if she likes me or what, my friends say she does but I'm nervous to tell her I don't want to mess things up I probably sound dumb but Im in need of advice

1. Stand with your back straight and shoulders back.
2. Glance around the room confidently as if you know everyone there. Don't be afraid to make eye contact with a handful of people and even give them a quick smile.
3. Keep direct eye contact with your crush when talking to them.
4. Nod and lightly smile when they talk to you (don't overdo the smiling) do more of a smirk rather
5. Give them one small compliment like liking that color on them, or liking their new haircut.
6. AFTER complimenting them, bring attention to something about yourself too like saying I found that this haircut works best for me or This color is what suits me best
7. Don't be afraid to make a joke or 2 at your own expense (this will open up the floor to teasing & sharing embarassing stories)
8. Once the floor is open to teasing each other, you can pretty much joke about everything

I would just like to say that if you are being subtle and they dont take the hint, it doesnt mean they arent interested in you. It means theyre completely oblivious. At that point, the best thing you can do is just say it outright. It doesnt matter who they are, they can just not pick up the hint. Im speaking from appearance here. Being oblivious to flirting isnt something men and only men suffer from, unlike some people would claim. It happens to everyone. So just tell them if they dont get the hint. I think its important to flirt without the intention to flirt or expectation to where it will get to. Coz the process is like getting to know a friend and we act very naturally when showing interest to a person as a friend than a crush.
