Hopefully time does not Ecco because if there is another time branch that had a catastrophic event but is something we managed to avoid then something else might inevitably happen but maybe in such a way we can recover from as our different actions weekend the catastrophic time Ecco for us.

how about this one. look into ace combat. they have a asteroid break up in low earth orbit. where a bunch
of them still hit the earth. but with the weapons each country created was able to cut the damage down. buy targeting only ones that would hit populated areas.

I would love to hear a story about how the Willamette Meteorite survived the impact with earth leaving no obvious crater and being found far from the impact site. There is the beginning of great story never really told or studied very much.

I do love these thought experiment videos however you're completely missing the speed at which the asteroid is traveling as its speed when it hits the earth is also a major factor in how much damage it does to the surface.

Y'all act like asteroids can only come from the direction of Jupiter lol. NASA just recently missed an asteroid because it was coming from the sun's direction and they didn't detect it until it almost passed us
