The keyboard warriors and the feminists need to get a life and stop disrespecting the ladies who spent part of their lives working for the Playboy Club, it was an incredibly coveted job. My Aunt worked at the clubs for over a decade and had nothing but wonderful memories, got to know and befriend many celebrities who became family friends and was very proud to have done it. These were strong women who were well protected, and well compensated. Including the opportunity to work their way up like my Aunt did. Who cares how old they are now, its none of your business! Stop disparaging people and ASSUMING and ANALYZING these women, because chances are you're wrong. Maybe you should look at your own lives, lack of competence and self esteem if you don't have anything better to say.

I knew someone who had once been a bunny and she said it was the best thing that ever happened to her. Her alternative was a job at Tesco working for a pittance. She had photos of her on a yacht in her bunny uniform and she looked radiantly. Don't judge by what we have decided is 'respectable' today.

I decided long ago that Hefner was not much more than a rich narcissist who refused to grow up, and, in many ways, not much more than a pimp, though he insisted the women who worked for him were protected. I'm no steinem, but it all just still seems very tawdry and cheap to me. Yuck.

The rumor I heard was that bunnies weren't allowed to date customers. Hef's brother, Keith, was the manager of the clubs and made that rule. It was said he made that rule so he didn't have as much competition in dating the bunnies himself.

I well remember my Mother worked w/a beautiful brunette at a local bank who went on to be a Bunny at the Chicago Playboy Club. She was gorgeous and I wish I could have seen her decked out as a Bunny!
