This absolutely captured my soul, i was the ten year old little sister and when my closest sibling nine years older than I, came home from the Marines and his second tour of Vietnam, would often sit in the dark of his room, i was so worried about him, my father a WW2 First Marine Division soldier, said just go and sit with him, you don't have to talk, just be his little sister and you will do miracles for him, he is still the most amazing big brother a little sister could ever ask for, i have been the lucky one. Semper Fidelis!

Powerful enough just from the PTSD standpoint, the eerie layering of the sci-fi onto that was masterful. The background music was superb for the visceral effects it provoked.
When will we stop creating Robbies, both here and abroad We don't need sci-fi monsters to make this any more horrific.

This was truly a wonderful video. Often, people bring horrible things back from war. It happened to my Uncle who fought in Iwo Jima during WW2. It drove him insane. Of course, this horrifies family members when these PTSD afflicted individuals return home. The creature inside Robbie was insightful symbolism. Good job folks.

This short film was excellent. well written story, acting was good, nice vfx. I'd like to see this be extended into a full movie. I wanna see what happens to that alien creature thing. There are so many more questions and plots to be explored. Blazin work Kyle P.

Compared to many of my neighbors, Robbie doesn't seem so bad. I mean, he wasn't driving around firing shots indiscriminately, and when he pulled a knife it wasn't at a cashier or an elderly lady walking by. Robbie would get a Humanitarian award in my neighborhood.

That was pretty good. Given the few sci-fi shorts being released on Dust anymore I am almost hesitant to bother clicking on their links when I see them because 90% of the time there are shorts I viewed previously and I get disappointed with that situation.

Well done! Reminiscent of the old Outer Limits series.

This was great. I live with ptsd as many of us do. We chose careers that we bring home and live with everyday. Sometimes I need a break from it and shows like this are wonderful for the distraction! Thank you!

My God. With the dross that's out there at the minute (yes, I'm on Prime, oh dear) this is a gem and should definitely be a full-length film. Well done Kyle, cast and crew. A marvellous short sci-fi horror.

Most shorts on Dust are of the type how did this crap get made. This one was how were they able to get such high production values into a short. A good one. Real good!

What peeves me off is when movies shoot everything in the dark so u can't see . They don't have to pay for special effects that way. Thumbs down for me.

Hell yes. Most of Dust releases are meh. fine for student film work I guess. But this! This has the marks of a team that knows the craft.

It reminded me of the cruciform in Hyperion. It was a good short. The genre has been beaten to death in feature length films.
