Some video game missions and levels are incredibly frustrating or annoying. Here are some examples from one of golden ages of gaming InfernoDuckTim: Cortana? Really? I never thought that was too bad. Of course it is a challenge but it is a good challenge at least in my opinion. But Halo 3 is my favorite game and I am really good at Halo, so maybe that is why... But honestly Halo 2, especially on Legendary, is ten worse than anything on Halo 3. Want a nasty Flood level, try Quarantine zone. Cortana ain't got anything on that!

I've only seen the ending of Half Life 2, Episode 2 once because that last mission to take out the Striders with the Magnusen bombs (or whatever those blue blowup things were called) is so so so frustrating, especially when the Hunters start spawning in with each wave.
Whenever I replay the Half Life games, that's usually the part I say, -Nope, no thanks,- and stop playing at.

Lol....my 4th or 5th play through of God of War I got through the platforming sections without getting hit. On the remaster for ps3 I got the achievement they created for making it up all the pillars without getting hit.
My rage quit level was Uncharted 1, jet ski level. Even lowering it to easy and I'd die every time...have yet to beat it to this day.

When me and my brother played Jack and dexter 2 and dealt with the ambush we found out that when you use the rifle and spin attack while the animation is going you could switch to the shotgun for an area effect to push our way through

There's actually a good tactic to the mission -The wrong side of the tracks- you have to get to the very edge of the second train track to the right. Big smoke then has a good range to shoot.

Mine was heavenly sword when you have to use the crossbow on the bridge I always would lose I never got further then that part I still regret never beating that game because of that one part

I was having a good ol' time in San Andreas...until Wrong Side of the Tracks mission came along and ruined it for me. It was so infuriating, I never finished the game...probably never will

i didnt jive with a lot of these but meat circus hit the nail on the head for me. but you didnt mention the REAL reason the level sucked so bad: protecting the kid from the monsters

For the Jack and Daxter game I got knocked into the water and accidentally figured out they can hit you if you stay perfectly hidden under the bridge and make it out that way -
