10 Boss Appearances That Led To Confused Screaming BlueKnight: Sonic Frontiers actually had a surprising one on the games final island. Where, in certain spots, there are these interactive pillars. Even turning color when using Cyloop on it. But given everything up until this point, I just thought it was another puzzle. But nope! Turns out the ghost guardian is hiding inside, and caught me completely off guard!
Concerning Tears of the Kingdom, and after pumping in SOO many hours into it. I can definitely agree on the Master Kohga boss fights! Unexpected, but hilarious at the same time! Definitely took a few tries with the flying vehicle encounter.

It wasn't a boss battle but the first time that I've ever played Fallout New Vegas (that was the first fallout game that I played and started with, I heard something running towards me and I'm thinking it's a ghoul but no it was a damn deathclaw ready to eat my soul and I may have screamed like a little girl and walked outside house for a bit and called it a day.

Majima is great! Personally I think his appearance in Yakuza like a Dragon induced more panicked screaming. You know, after the introduction of an optional leveling dungeon that everyone scoffs at before continuing. Only to be faced with a multi-stage boss fight with Majima out of nowhere with 15+ levels on you.

You don't mention that fighting Majima is the only way to upgrade your Dragon Style, which is pretty useless at the start but holds some of Kiryu's most powerful abilities. so it's actually useful to fight him as much as possible
reply

I d like to acknowledge the first Dragon in the Hinterlands in Dragon Age Inquisition. Replaying the game for the first time in almost 6 years and CHRIST does it just slam dunk your team out of nowhere
reply

Not a boss appearance but in the original Resident Evil when the dogs first jump through the windows scared the crap out of me. I remember my dad just laughing hysterically when I screamed. Good times.

That rancor boss fight scared the piss out of me and I would not give up until I killed him. I died at least 15 times lol plus, I always play on the hardest difficulty I love torturing myself
reply

Raincor. I swear in the past year I've heard you mispronounce so many well known words that at this point it feels like you're just trying to T&T (troll and trigger) various fandoms.

I don't know if anyone in the comments mentioned this but Dr Langstrum aka Manbat from Arkham Knight. My first encounter made me pause the game and contemplate about my lifes choices.

Small correction (I think) about the Amygdala boss of Bloodborne: the Amygdala you fight isn't the same one as the Lesser Amygdala that are initially invisible and spread around the map.

I swear you guys used to list all the games you d spoil at the beginning. maybe I m remembering something else but I didn t know about: TOTK Spoilers:
Kohga in totk yet: (

Listening to how he pronounces Majima and Kiryu's names kills me. There is a reason he shows up as a zombie. There was a game called Yakuza: dead souls. It was a weird zombie game.

I was completely expecting the first monkee boss in sekiero. Yes, you know you're in for a battle, but I doubt too many people expected the second form was it ripping it's head off.

Worst thing about the Ragnarok one is Fryas constant nagging!
So with on the Rankor from ROtJ. The whole Jabba palace stuff terrified me when I saw it at the cinema

Koga definitely says he fell down the hole and that's why he's down there. He kinda sucked, I don't know what with Japanese games and having dancing idiots everywhere
reply

That first time Taskmaster gets you after completing a challenge in Insomniac s Spider-Man. I knew it was Taskmaster, but I wasn t expecting be grappled mid-swing!
reply

I wasn t surprised about Master Kohga. I kinda had a feeling we d run into him since he fell down a giant hole in BOTW then learning about the depths in TOTK
reply

I remember being so terrified of how Clayface was introduced in Arkham City sure it wasn't surprising, but it was pretty damn scary to my 7 year old self
reply

The unexpected appearance of the Pursuer in the forest of the fallen giants is also horrifying as I wasnt expecting a sudden boss fight out of nowhere
reply

The Rancor on Jedi: Survivor definitely deserved to be on this list, lost count how many times I died before saying Screw it, I'll come back to it later.
