Tbh game exclusives are just bad in general. Those are extremely anti-consumer and actually hurt both games (as in the future it is harder to play such game if generation of devices ends) and it also hurts us - players. In an ideal world, if I buy a game, it should not matter what platform I will chose. A game is a game. It is a licensed copy. Nintendo, Sony, MS. all of them are guilty of game exclusives practises. Game gets permanently locked to an ecosystem. Instead of making gaming platform good & competitive. companies are just locking games to platform effectively taking consumer choice away. MS at leasts releases games also on PC, so it is technically not as hard exclusive as Nintendo & Sony do (and Nin even charges for save slots lol. Sure, MS has also monopoly in OS department, so it is harder to run their games on linux or iOS, but hey - at least such game will be still playable and buy-able 10 - 15 years in the future from now. Console only games however. you either hope that your old PS3 still works, or hope that emulation progressed far enough so your beloved game can still be played. If only Sony & Nin had solid backwards compatibility then it would not be a huge issue.

Xbox crying that Sony does timed exclusives and is anti competitive? Even tho In 360 days they got all the timed exclusives and early accesss and cool shit. And all the developers were meat riding Xbox saying ps3 is hard to develope for lol. You didn t see Sony crying nah they worked on they re first party games like uncharted and last of us. and then. Next generation obliterated Xbox who btw wanted to do DRM and sell you on tv apps and Kinect lol ( yea they are pro consumer ) yea let s by Bethesda and make all them games exclusive even Bobby kotik doesn t like gamepass only selling because shareholders only care About money lol and he was tryna work on a deal with Sony in case the deal falls through

Even with COD, usually the distributor gets 30% but Activision told Xbox that if they wanted COD they will only give them 20%. They don't have popularity on their side to negotiate. Sony had already paid the timed-exclusive Ghost Wire Tokio and Deathloop, and wanted to make Starfield exclusive for years or maybe permanently (like they do with Final Fantasy and other third party games. So I think XBOXs move make 100% sense. Plus Bethesda has always been a little bit closer to Xbox, they only made timed-exclusives with Sony because they were desperate for money.

You're either for or against the video game exclusivity model, you can't go well this way is okay because my favorite plastic box maker does it that way but this other way isn't because that's the way the plastic box maker I hate does it.

Especially if you yourself will do that, just outing yourself of how low you see your competition going and acting on those low instincts. You might fall if you walk, so might as well buy a scooter so you don't run the risk.

Hypercharge Unboxed is the perfect blueprint for a Small Soldiers game to work from. That game drew me in because I love Small Soldiers so much lol. It caught the toy-scale warfare angle and ran with it. Lots of fun maps and even a sort of build your own toy style modular character creator. If that small soldiers project is close to Hypercharge, we're in for some fun fun.

So good Banjo Kazooie has a strong fanbase and is beloved by many if not all gamers who have played it. Why doesn't Microsoft just remaster both titles (and do it correctly) and for a big finish, announce the 3rd game that everyone and their mother(s) has been waiting for with most or not all the original project members that made this incredible classic.

I stand by TLOU2 Is amazing and peoples inability to be self aware and deal with there grief is why people don t like it. Abby s character makes sense, they flushed her out, Joel was a bad guy established well early on, who deserved what came to him. Ellie outgrew Joel by the end of two and developed as her own person. Maturity and common sense are not common.

Anyone who supports Microsoft buying up the industry doesn t deserve to play games. Microsoft has a huge library they could develop games for, but they simply refuse to do so. Them buying Bethesda was smart, but buying Activision just shows they don t care about games they just hate Sony. A terrible company that will likely be the downfall of gaming.

Microsoft is gonna have to learn one day that you can t buy your way into success. Acquisition does not equal output. Every single studio Microsoft has purchased has taken a nosedive while somehow making next to nothing. Please tell me why you continue to support a company that, after 20+ years, still only has ONE first party franchise?

Its not that call off duty is huge its just that most people play it and its the easiest way to socialize/game with friends who don't play anything else unfortunately. Like id love if my cod friends played destiny or gta or some other games but they don't. So I'm forced to play cod to game with my irl friends.

My problem with gaming companies besides the greed is that they spend all this time producing the cinematic for perfect dark but if its still a concept then what is the point of telling us so early and wasting time on productions that aren't progressing the game forward.

I have a brother with AMAZING gaming rig, and he will only play Call of Duty Warzone. its awful. I can't get him to install or play anything else. and I have another brother who only plays Apex on on Series x. I hate them both. I play all my games alone usually.

That statemant from Microsoft is just a bizarre atempt to promote their game, we all know Bethesda was with Microsoft before every leak or news regarding Starfield, no doubt is gona be an awsome game, but no doubt that what they said its not true.

Didn't know Xbox buying Bethesda was because they were afraid PS would shoot for exclusivity. But the amount of Sony puts into their games honestly doesn't surprise me. 5 minutes into GoW Ragnorak, and you can tell it was made with a huge budget.
