I'm definitely looking forward to Spine, Khazan, and Phantom Blade Zero. Been following all of these games since their first trailers came out and haven't stopped. Khazan so far has done 3 in-person beta tests in South Korea where the devs are located and from those interviewed, it seems like it's gonna be a fun one. Just gotta work on fixing that frame rate more than anything. I'm VERY curious about Crimson Desert cause, every time I see the footage shown in the video I'm left wondering if this game will run great on the current gen consoles especially with the various graphical details and the abundance of particle effects on screen.

Yeah, the second I hear or see someone refer to a game as souls-like, it doesn't matter how good that game looks visually, I instantly lose interest in playing it. I swear lately it feels like every fantasy game has wanted to jump on that bandwagon and leaves very little for gamers who aren't interested in dying over and over again, spending numerous attempts on a boss, getting gud or doing anything other than enjoying the little time they have to game each day casually. Maybe that's why some devs want to avoid referring to their games as souls-like now They want to avoid alienating more casual gamers ahead of time.

I feel like Last Epoch, Diablo, etc being labeled ARPG really puts me off of a genre I actually like. I feel like there needs to be a different genre and people don't call them action RPG, probably more dungeon crawl RPG or whatever. I truly dislike the top down design, I've only ever liked that in Gauntlet on the N64 with my siblings. After that it just feels poorly done and most of the footage of Last Epoch and D4 turns more into a bullet hell in close quarters! Between character builds just spamming shit and the bosses or hoards of trash mobs flying around the screen. I don't like that.

These guys need to stop trying to put games into genres we invented 20 years ago when only 3 games existed, these new games aren't classified under 1 genre and also dudes never even played Khazan but wants to call it a hack n slash like it's Fing Castlevania in 1990. Nah bro it's a full fledged JRPG, soulslike, hack n slash, 3rd person adventure, it's all of that. it's not 1990 anymore.

I'm especially excited for Judas! Looks like it's similar enough to the 2 ACTUALLY good Bioshock games, Bioshock 1 and Infinite. 2 kinda sucked honestly. However, Bioshock 1 and Infinite are among my favorite games of all time, and this looks like it'll join their ranks.
Ps. I'm a sucker for cool super powers, which Judas looks like it'll have in spades.

Was a huge dragon age fan, but you lost me the moment i saw the black elf with the afro,
you already know they are going to destroy all that is loved by fans to add a they/them protag.
Which is wild because dragon age inquisition already had a diverse cast already.

Kingmakers: If a medieval army found itself suddenly attacked by people with modern weaponry, it would probably stop fighting to marvel at the apparent witchcraft and cower in fear, but the medieval warriors in the promotional videos of this game don't appear to notice.

Not excited for AC. Pretty sure it'll be dead on arrival. Sure it'll hold a fan base like everything but Ubisoft are going to post how the game did not meet expectations and then blame it on the gamers.

Crimson desert looks simply phenomenal I have Black desert and I still haven't played it but they play completely different and it doesn't look like you need to play the previous one to enjoy this one

I genuinely think Capcom had a picture of me when deciding on the Dead Rising Deluxe Remake. Let's make this guy his game! I haven't been excited by a video game release like this since Bioshock Infinite.
