im pretty happy that P3R got mentioned at all, I liked it so much better than P5R because outside of the simplified combat system and music P5 wasn't that good for me and no I'm not gonna be mad for it not making the list because I know there are better games and I'm not gonna circlejerk like these P5only fans. My list literally is P3 (all but portable, P2 IS, P4, P5, P2 EP, P1 and depends if you consider SMT if as a persona game. This is based on the overall experience, and yeah I actually went back to play the classic persona games because I'm a persona fan and a SMT fan, I'm not gonna be like yeah I only played Halo 4 thus I'm am completely a Halo as a whole fan.

Sonic x Shadow Gen looks sooo sleek. I really wanna play it but not enough for the current price tag. I’ll be patient
Rise of Ronin actually appeals to me more than those memorize-50-different enemy attack pattern games. Definitely has a demographic, even if smaller I think I’ll go with Wukong though. Game looks breathtaking.
Lately, I’m just playing multiplayer but am planning to replay RE4 this winter.

This is why it's so hard to listen to Jake. Dude literally put Dead Rising: Remaster over Metaphor: Re, Like A Dragon: Infinite Weath, and Legend of Zelda: EoW. actual new games of 2024. I swear dude wakes up in the morning, yawns, and just pulls random top 25s out of his a. I get it, you have to wake up everyday for this biz and show something, but man. the lack of effort is starting to show as well. Man where's Falcon

Those are just the big industry wide hits that need a shout, personally I’d also add Unicorn Overlord, Another Crab’s Treasure, and Kunitsugami Path of the Goddess

I actually find that the story of the Lost Crown gets better on repeated play throughs. The game also gives certain details related to the characters and lore through optional side content like the sand jars and the impossible climb challenge. There’s also a little more you learn in the Mask of Darkness DLC that’s only $5. 00.

When someone makes a Top X list, it should be mirrored by review ratings. How hard is it to select games that have high ratings on Steam that meet the criteria for the video Not hard. But Gameranx keeps putting the same games on the list and the comments section get littered with obvious games they completely missed.

I haven't been inclined to play a 3D Sonic game since the disaster that was Sonic '06. Sonic X Shadow Generations looks pretty fun but I wish they would just give in to what the people really want: Chao Gardens. A new chao experience would be amazing even if they did it as a standalone title or even a mobile game.

Good list until Dragon's Dogma 2 at 1st really lmao that game barely runs 60fps on any setup, repetitive combat & monsters all throughout and devs pushing slow & barebone updates. what made you put that on the top 25. its a joke putting it on top 1 over wukong lol

As I have been seeing quite many players mixed up, in fact, Black Myth Wukong has changed and added a lot of different stories and settings than the original one.

I am playing veilguard. Aside from a handful of bad lines and a really REALLY annoying character it’s alright. Look past that and the Fortnite esque graphics and it’s a decent game. At least in my opinion. But I also liked andromeda and inquisition.

Dragon's Dogma 2 as the #1 game is crazy imo.
My top 5, no particular order: FF7 Rebirth, Elden Ring: SOTE, Black Myth Wukong, Stellar Blade, and Metaphor: Refantazio
I haven't played Astrobot or seen enough gameplay, but it's on the list.

Space Marine II is trash, fails to deliver the atmosphere, least Warhammer of all games I played. But of course the paid review is positive because it's paid. Sellout lol. Which means none of it is trustworthy

Really surprising that the only atlus game that got mentioned is Persona 3 reload and thats in the bonuses.
Metaphor refantazio and Unicorn overlord are definetly better than half the games on this list.

of course i guess jake forgot about the zombies narrative in cod or never knew it existed. i would argue better gameplay and story in zombies and he says most notably the campaign. whatever dude.

This year has been great for indies. Balatro, Animal Well, UFO 50, Tactical Breach Wizards, Satisfactory were (and are) some of my biggest time sinks. I’m still playing Helldivers 2, as well.
