Ubisoft ssabotage itself get backstab by tencents who is also running on fumes they don’t have enough money to save Ubislop plus practice bad hiring & A whole lot of useless idiot rookie unqualify role in position chasing trends let’s do it own downfall plus another useless idiotic affect DEI & ESG The money is already gone.
You chose to ignore it yourself so by the end of the day, people will remember your names, but they won’t remember those who ruin it for everybody else the own company they work for
Gaming media and legacy media days are numbered nobody will believe from those people anymore every time some idiot keep posting things on X You won’t get to hide what you say the Internet is there forever

As another armchair not-knowing-business guy, I don't think game studios as large as Ubisoft should even exist. At their size, it's more about volume than quality because they need to keep the lights on and people employed. There is never going to be 1 game that they are deeply passionate about or that will get all of the development time and effort that it deserves. They are strictly in the business of making money. Their games are the equivalent of summer blockbusters (movies) that people have an entertaining couple-of-hours with and then forget about.

Glasses look great. no need to apologize. As an older gamer, I'd say UBI jumped the shark years ago. though I loved Far Cry 5, for me at least, I began seeing the subtle political agenda appearing more and more, until it was SOOO egregious. Gaming should be about immersion into the fantasy of that world. I don't want non-Japanese token Samurais etc. I definitely miss Splinter Cell series, Rainbow Six, Assassins Creed when the protagonist, actually historically represented the times, Ghost Recon Wildlands.

hmm. yea, not making completely new style of games and telling your demographic they don’t own anything will definitely boost your game sales
Time to lose two AA and change the last one to a huge L.
Haven’t played a Ubisoft game in over a decade as non of them appeal to me.

AAA playing it safe. and it shows with less and less sales from AAA games and more AA sales from experimentational games

Ubisoft is a major example of what happens when you don’t pay attention to your fan base. Their company is moving like an algorithm, just pushing out what’s trendy, forgetting that their games has always been fairly niche. They somehow even fumbled solid series like Ghost Recon. They’re out of touch. Someone definitely needs to take over

For Assassin's Creed, Ubisoft could've made a good Basim trilogy after Valhalla. They even set up Basim in the modern day and took out Layla as the protagonist of the RPG trilogy at the end of Valhalla. But they fumbled with Mirage that ignored their own modern day story and chose to be trend chasers for Shadows. Absolute waste of potential.

First off, Jake Baldino and glasses should be a regular thing. They look so goooood!
Secondly, I'm just deciding to get into the Episode Aigis DLC for Persona 3: Reload and it's okay so far. Looking to start the new Indiana Jones game after.
Third off. I felt the delivery of I need more coffee hard

Moneys tight cause they're playing it safe and only gonna get tighter.
They have to take chances, if they look at the games that strayed away from that path they notice they all have seen big succes.
Probably one of the reasons why the indie games all do amazing, because it's all new IP's

Ubisoft is like Manchester United of the gaming industry.
Spending lots of money on useless project or actually ruining the projects that have potential.
Management is all over the place, and they don't hear their fans out.
That's very Manchester United'y if you ask me.

Ubisoft just needs an r6 vegas 3 with multi-player evolved from vegas 2. That shit was so much fun back in the day. And with all the operators set up by siege it'd be an opportune time to bring back vegas featuring operators not seen in extraction

Pleaseeee someone buy xdefiant and get it back up and running the game is truly amazing but the marketing for it sked all my friends I got to play it enjoyed it as a great free alternative to cod it just needs better marketing and promotion

8: 42 I've seen better firstfights in Ubisoft games. How can this game be any good Anyone here who is having a good time with it i would like to play it, but everytime i see videos from it it feels like i'm looking at a game with 2010 physics.

Ubishit deserves to go under with their deceptive and tricky tactics along with just terrible games, loot boxes, random bans, half ass games, ownership issues and such just for starters. About time they get a dose of reality fkn loser company
reply

They didnt support R6 or For Honor at all. Did the bare minimum in a lot of cases. It has been 9 years and the servers in R6 is still dogshit.
The only reason cheaters are at an all time low is because the guy selling them quit. BRUH

I’d like to think that Sony and UBI’s recent missteps with out of date shooters would teach them a lesson about trying to jump on the bandwagon of gaming trends in the era of 5 year development cycles, but they probably won’t.
reply

the family retaining some control is the poison pill of the offer. The Family basicly just want your money and thats it. The point of anyone buying Ubisoft would be to fire the C-Suite and bring in someone else to clean up the mess.

I can’t see Tencent buying out Ubisoft as a good thing. I dislike Ubisoft in general, last game i bought was Siege at launch but Tencent’s business practices arguably double down on what Ubisoft has been up to already

I live down the street from ubisoft toronto, just a bunch of hipsters and Karen's that come to work in minivans and og ww2 cruiser motorcycles and sit there and drink in the office all day cuz they got an employee only bar in there
reply

They wouldn't need to play it safe if they just asked the fans what they wanted with like a questionnaire or something fans we feverishly support games they love especially if they know its going in a direction they like
reply

Ubisoft did all this to themselves. They ruined their reputation. EA is slowly leaning towards that direction too. These companies are so money hungry they forget to put out a decent enough product that earns them money
