Its a lot of games i wish i was able to play. but im laying in bed playing on a 75inch tv, and i cba to play games that cant show your current hp / power near the character. i get dizzysick real fast if i have to constantly look down to the lower left corner to check my health.
How hard could it be to allow players to atleast customise where and how their healthbar / energy / mana (etc) should be on the screen.
Its kinda mindboggling. ohwell. their loss. (no purchases from me)

This just might be the most insane year in gaming history. Even with gta 6 coming out next year i cant imagine how we will ever top this years line-up of games. Clair obscure, silksong, ghost of yotei, kcd2, mafia, doom the dark ages, borderlands 4, Hell is us, Silent hill f and now Hades 2. I'm sure I'm missing some games but this just feels like 3 years worth of games all in one year. Most years we have maybe 2-3 games that can be competing for game of the year. But not this time.

Hades made me think I liked roguelikes, only to discover I really like Hades. It is just perfect, the story which progresses a little bit with each run, the character affinity system, the endgame everything just works and makes up for a really addictive game ( only 1 more run ).
Hades 2 is more of it, but better. I still have not got used to the new weapons, omega system or new boons, but already love it.

What the heck do you mean before you buy, this is one of the great studios of ever that treat the gamer right and shovel awesome, artistly crafted, and well made content into the controller and screen of the gamer while asking for twenty bucks. Give them the money if you have not already, and do so in place of giving it to a triple A dev production.

In my case, this should have came out when it went into early access, lol. I loved Hades 1 and when Hades 2 basically said, play it now, I didn't even hesitate. I haven't played too much since Abiotic Factor kinda took over this entire month for me, but I've already beaten both Chronos and Typhon with fear of 24 and 32, I think, respectively.

sounds interesting, but it's sad to see those reviews that spoil a large part of the experience. I had to skip large chunks, here. Don't tell everything, if possible, but what's important: is the gameplay loop addictive, are the controls good (both controller and k/m, what's the replay value, is it recommended to play the 1st game, and so on.

the biggest flaw is the requirement to unlock everything, they kept the same ish requirement that Hades had, it way way too long.
I have played about 15 hours so far and I feel like I have crawled very little into the all the unlock and would take another 30-40 hours to unlock what remains!

Loving the game, came here to hype it up more. while I haven’t had any issues with before you buy before, I felt like there were some spoilers in here about gameplay and later areas that I would’ve preferred to find out myself, like the surface stuff, or what the third area is like, etc

As soon as I see it on offer I'll get it for the Switch.
Hades and Stay the Spire are the 2 games I've the most over the last 12-18 months so this is a must buy, I just want to complete my preordered Final Fantasy Tactical first so I'm thinking of Black Friday or Christmas for Hades 2.

I just got to Chronos for the first time with the skull, and It was so much fun seeing the potential for how powerful Melonie can be. Her moveset feel brutal and relentless and something about maneuvering around attacks so gracefully without spamming a dash that is so satisfying

My only gripe with this game is the difficulty spike in second campain. It's like 1 to a 100 once you get through half of it, it's a bit annoying.
But overall it's something of the year material for me. (I would say goty, but Clair Obscur exists. It's pure perfection.

I still remember the first time I beat Theseus and the Minotaur (i thought i was the only one who dreaded that fight ) and even almost beat hades first try but right before I finished him well you can guess and I have never been able to beat Theseus again

Going to be honest: rougelikes aren’t my thing and I’m going to pass on this. But it looks gorgeous, and I’m excited for all the Hades fans who’ve been waiting for years for this. There’s nothing better than getting an amazing sequel to a game you love

I never played the first one but I decided to try it since its on Gamepass. It's kinda addicting. I wasn't sure what to make of it and I'm still learning it. I like how each run is different. As a newcomer I gotta say this is pretty fun!

I don't play rougelikes, I never played the first one and I don't think I've ever played a Super Giant game in general. With that said, I really want to jump straight into this game. The music and style completely sold me.

Yeah no once I saw the direct and that it was releasing on the 25th I bought it the same morning although it was still preorder technically but after ir got outta class I literally just started grinding and it’s soo good
