The rog doesn't interest me. It's like playing phone games, trash. I spent 2k on a TV, why the hell would I want to play anything on such a tiny screen And if I'm on the go I'm the one driving. This i think just appeals to kids, who are more used to playing something like a phone (prolly trash roblox) instead of a console with a television. They don't even care about graphics, tell me different, look what kids play.
For context, I was born in 81, so I've watched the evolution from Atari 2600 to modern graphics. I like seeing my games grow with me. I want more adult content, not necessarily porn or whatever, but more grown up, like the witcher series, mass effect and the like. I remember the virtaboy, the gimmick. It was neat at the time because it was a new thing, but it was trash and luckily I didn't get it. But that's kids these days. For instance my friends kid loves the metaquest game pistol something and omg. it looks like such trash. If I didn't care about the graphics for a video game. id just play horseshoes irl. Tell me. why do people go to the movies and not just watch at home on their tv Because nothing beats the big screen

I think that the XBOX handheld is on the right track. Steam Deck has got a competitor. I don't have or want either one tho. BUT what I think XBOX is getting right, on their end, is that no one wants a 1000 console, but they'll buy a handheld PC gaming device at that price, especially if it does all the XBOX stuff. So I think its a genius move. Its like the Switch but it doesn't suck. As in its going to be a handheld gaming thing but without shitty specs, but you gotta pay for it, and the people that want that performance will pay for it, and those same people wouldn't buy a 1000 dollar console, no one will. So, I think that its a genius move for XBOX, and on the right track for something I'd buy in the future. I'm waiting for the actual core of the thing to settle. I ain't about to early adopt that shit. I'll get the 3rd generation after its a thing.

No one seems to be talking about the trails in the Sky remake. I'm really enjoying it. It's been a long time since I felt really excited playing a game. Anyway, maybe it's just the nostalgia talking because it's on my top 10 favorite games list. The remake is a really nice experience. Lots of changes yet feels exactly the same. I'm also enjoying Rogue Prince of Persia. It's a perfect game. Work doesn't allow me to game as much as I want to, but I'm having a great time with these two.

Let’s set aside the tariff thing for a moment. That’s the excuse. There is no reason for the systems to be getting more expensive. This disincentivizes upgrading or jumping into an ecosystem which means accessories and games and subscriptions don’t get sold. I play on a series S. I had thought about getting a Series X. Not anymore and if this little idiot breaks, I ain’t dropping money on a new one. I’ve got plenty of old ass PC games I can play.

3: 20 evil dead the game had so much potential and nobody covered it smh. It was so good they just needed to maintain support to continuously fix and balance the game but nope. Bad marketing and epic games exclusivity sealed its fate before it even launched smh. Wish we as a gaming community could make large exodus’s to games that deserve love like this to help them get the proper love they deserve. Same with games like gigantic smh

that wolverine game looks lame as hell. it's comes across as cookie cutter same old crap we've had over and over again. There's no imagination there, it's just a mix of every action game we've had over the past 20 years. Why does wolverine himself look like the most unimaginative version I used to read xmen comics and watch the cartoon when I was a kid and this just feels nothing like that at all.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate these studios that are trying to make older games more accessible for modern hardware There are so many older games that always needed some sort of tweaking to function in a proper resolution or framerate, and sure we sometimes get a big miss like that Battlefront Classic Collection, but sometimes we get things like System Shock, and now Deus Ex I love it.

September has been really great. Got Soultice with 90% discount, Severed Steel with 95%, and Sheepy short adventure. Was not expecting much of them but they are amazing.
Looking forward for Nioh 3, New Tomb Raider, maybe also Dissidia FF duodecim remaster (remake but maintain the core play would be better) with added characters. And continuation of FF Type 0.

Is it legal to be excited about things YES! 100%. We need more of that kind of energy in the world. Yotei and Termintaor games, along with Outer Worlds 2, are on my wishlist. And the new XBox handheld will have to wait and see. If it was effortless crossplay with existing games and game saves on my XBox console, it might be worth it down the road.

Some of the things coming out soon really got my attention. Despite the price, I still want the Xbox ROG Ally X, but I'll wait for reviews on the graphics and what not on both models. As for Ghost of Yotei, I was going to play Ghost of Tsushima first. However, Sucker Punch can kiss my chocolate starfish.

I still use my ps4 pro spidey system. I actually got back into Mad Max!
As good as this game is, its a shame they haven't made a sequel! It could offer the same wasteland experience, but offer co-op and online multiplayer! I can imagine the vehicular mayhem.
On anothrr note, Wolverine looks awesome.

Some of the city builder streamers, who mostly play Cities Skylines / 2 are talking about CityState Metropolis.
They just dropped a trailer and it looks very promising. Even being called the Skylines killer, especially with the bad launch and continues bugs in skylines 2

Damn. Not a single game I'm even slightly interested in. Whats going on here Am i just getting old Gaming has lost its fun to me. The obly game in the past like 2 years that has really cumed me in has been dying light the beast. I think gaming might be dead for me.

silent hill f is a masterpiece and the combat is superb. 10/10 everyone keeps using that as a talking point to say its a con but. i dont think they played very long or chose to give a fuq. silent hill f is a total buy and ima play it after i work out. mr jake bad dingo.

Yakuza 3 is the black sheep of the franchise. The orphanage plot dragged the game down. The remastered version that launched with the 3-5 collection plays like PS2 era combat. Kiwami will definitely look and play better. But the story will knock off some points.

If the ROG Xbox Ally can run games locally then I think its worth the money. If its a powerful gaming computer but portable then that is huge.
However, if its like the Playstation Portal and can only stream games then not worth the money at all

PlayStation dominates the market and therefore has the right to raise the price even though we are never in favor of it. Xbox, on the other hand, has no right and it is even audacity for them to raise prices for a console that is losing sales.

What I think is, my individual era of gaming seems to be coming to an end. More and more I notice that my interest in releasing titles is getting smaller and smaller. These days I’ve found myself just watching ppl play the games I won’t myself.

Just an update
My GTA: San Andreas save file is now over a decade old, and contains cheats. Now, my character is forever skinny, and wheezy, and the weather is always extreme, fog, sunrise, hurricanes, sundown, all the best effects. Wizard.
