I don't know if you have Sears where you live, but I recently bought a roll of that thinner foam at Sears, in the department where they sell treadmills and home exercise equipment, I initially purchased the thicker foam, like what you used, at harbor frieght and it was too thick and not flexible enough for the costume I was making

I dont know, the old BFX stuff looked halfway decent and you could use it in a (really) cheap short. But this. sorry man, this looks awful. I made much better stuff myself in less than a week.

The thin diamond plate EVA can be found at a discount chain called Ollie's Bargain Warehouse for I think around $20. Not sure if they have online shopping.
