I like the fact you review on you're personal opinions, but in all honesty I hate game reviews because its not like you reviewers know how hard it is to create a game I believe that before reviewers review a game they should know how to make the game to appreciate it more also are these reviewers making millions by people enjoying these games? No they arent their is a reason why people buy games and expansions its because they enjoy them, personally I found university life as well crap, but on the positive notes I like how it branches out the posibility for you're sims, should games be reviewed well yes and no, I have seen a 1000 great games get bad reviews and I have seen a 1000 bad games get good one, what I find with most games (action/rpg) they all have the same story but a different astetic and environment, you can have a game with 5 different endings but they all become predicatable, the same with avengers when it started i knew how it would end I knew it would have a part two and how that would end, it was a sad mess like almost all movies today, take horror for example it either has a second part or just one movie and it always takes the same approach, avengers being the same the good guy fights and wins or if he doesnt a number 2 comes along and they win, we need a new system for this crap

I agree with Seasons, probably my favorite, just such a nice expansion with nice scenery, new activites etc. But I disagree on much of the rest. I found World Adventures, Into the Future, and Supernatural really fun and interesting. I found most of the stuff packs and Ambitions just really boring and not my preference. I like change so traveling to an island or other country, exploring tombs, clubbing at night, or having fairies was just really fun to me. Where as more realistic stuff like work and family related packs bore me. That's the cool thing about sims though, people with different ideas of fun can enjoy whichever packs enrich the game for them. Still way better than sims 4 which I just stopped playing, sims 2 and sims life stories is still fun for nostalgia reasons, but sime 3 was and still is the best version by far. I refused to buy the Katy Perry pack, just no want at all. But favorites would probably be Seasons and world adventure, least most of the stuff packs and defintevly ambitions. The only feature I loved from it was the imaginary friends and some new furniture for kids.

I'm probably the only person who prefers the Sims 4. I found the Sims 3 cumbersome and crash heavy. Take the elevators for example. It seriously took your sim an hour to make their dumbass way down the elevator in order to go anywhere. You had to micro plan your day in order to do anything fun because your sims took forever to go anywhere. When you did leave your lot, the community lots were always desolate. The night clubs seriously had about 4 sims inside. They were just sad. Residential open world was pointless. I hardly ever go to another sims residence, so why should I care about being open-world with their boring houses? The sims 4 has plenty of issues, but I really do appreciate how much smoother the game runs. Your sims won't just block each other from going places, you can just automatically move to community lots, and you can multi-task. You can actually build a skill now without it crippling your sim's mood. The build mode and create-a-sim are way simpler to use. But best of all: IT DOESN'T CRASH EVERY 20 MINUTES!

Reasons I have certain packs installed:
WA - travel, new skills, cultures, adventures are fun to break up normal game play
Ambitions- professions and self-employment system. Stylist especially
Late Night- all of it. Bridgeport is my favorite
Generations - storytelling enhancement
Pets - HORSES. Other pets are cool too and the world is pretty
Seasons - perfect pack
Supernatural- I don-t play with supernaturals a lot but I definitely use everything in build/buy mode
University Life - don-t love the college itself but I love a lot of the stuff it came
IP-never got it because everyone-s says it-s too buggy
ST - LRG-s review and comments in this video
ITF-too niche

I've never even played these games but seeing those boxes made me sad reminding me of the dying days of physical expansions. Don't get me wrong it's great that a game can be updated at any time now to fix issues but on the flipside far too many devs have used it as an excuse to release a broken mess that MAY be fixed in the future. Though DLC was already around by the time these were released it still reminded me of the days when if you bought a game you could be fairly certain you were getting a full game since releasing some of the horror shows they do now would sink a company (seems to work the other way around now. And yes, I'm fully aware I sound like an old man shaking his cane.

I recently got back into Sims 3 after being too busy with real life and now I'm thinking of buying more EPs to enhance the gameplay. Coming back to this video to help my decision haha! I always loved S3 a lot and no other Sims game will ever replace S3 in my heart: )
Also I'm a bit sad that Pets is so low on your list! It was the first EP I got and I can not imagine this game without pets. Probably because I prefer playing as animal sims than the human sims, buuut animals are still essential

I agree with your lists, I'd just put Into the Future and Supernatural as my first and second on the list instead, I just love supernatural/paranormal/fantasy and sci-fi stuff. I'd definitely put Showtime as the last one besides the singer and acrobat careers it was pretty meh. And Katy's outfits/gigs were only usable if you wanted a flashy/over the top party or show. It didn't have much use if you are one of those people that like -more normal- stuff for everyday.

I got Sims 3 from the Night Life / High End Loft Stuff bundle at Gamestop back in 2013. It was so much fun and I used minimal CC to play it. I have the free copy of TS4 from like a year ago, but I haven't touched it since I've heard its extremely boring, especially if you only have base game. I love the graphics, CAS and Build/Buy in 4, but 1-3 were really something else and something special in video game history.

My reason for trying to get Katy Perry-s Sweet Treats: so I can make an entire fantasy town with its stuff and populate it with fairies, witches, and objects relating to such.
It-s utter insanity, but I don-t care: it-s a hilarious idea.
Edit: Quick side note, I actually purchased one for about $50, including tax and shipping. Don't worry, despite their increasing rarity, their value has been going down.
