I'm really looking forward to the live-action remake of Lady and the Tramp. I'm especially looking forward to seeing if Justin Theroux will do as good a job doing Tramp's voice as Larry Roberts did and if Tessa Thompson will do as good a job doing Lady's voice as Barbara Luddy did. Certain scenes in the original version of Lady and the Tramp remind me of six Thomas The Tank Engine stories about being careful, eight Thomas The Tank Engine stories about working together and eight Thomas The Tank Engine stories about behaving well. The stories about being careful are Percy Runs Away from Volume 3, Thomas Breaks The Rules from Volume 4, Henry's Special Coal from Volume 3, The Flying Kipper from Volume 3, Trouble For Thomas from Volume 1 and Toby The Tram Engine from Volume 3. The stories about working together are James In A Mess from Volume 4, Duck Takes Charge from Volume 4, Down The Mine from Volume 5, The Runaway from Volume 5, Better Late Than Never from Volume 5, Tenders And Turntables from Volume 3, Trust Thomas from Volume 6 and Percy And The Signal from Volume 7. The stories about behaving well are Thomas Comes To Breakfast from Volume 3, Pop Goes The Diesel from Volume 5, Diesel's Devious Deed from Volume 5, A Close Shave For Duck from Volume 5, Gordon Takes A Dip from Volume 5, Double Trouble from Volume 4, A Cow On The Line from Volume 4 and Trouble In The Shed from Volume 3.

To all those hating on the live-action remakes:
They're still selling the animated stuff and merchandise based on the animated stuff. So, the live-action remakes are less taking over or destroying the original and more what if the events happened in a more live-action world and they're made for an late 2010s audience rather than audiences of the 90s. Since it's been at least 20 years and the way our society works has changed over time. If you don't like the remakes, fine. Just don't hate on the people who DO enjoy some of them for their own reasons. In fact, I love doing a back and forth scene by scene marathon of Animated Beauty and the Beast and Live-action version with the Broadway version for good measure and their unique songs.
As long as they still do the animated stuff, the live-action remakes whether you hate them or not can never truly replace the originals.

Why are so many of these on the streaming service? What if you like a visit to the theater or additions to DVD collections? Now such people can't see them! You are reducing your audience!
And stop with the remakes and sequels! WHY CAN'T YOU ADAPT OTHER THINGS OR CREATE NEW IDEAS?

I grew up with nearly every single Disney movie including pixar. I just wish they would stop with the disney remakes and leave them be. They lack the magic and talent that the classics had. They just don't carry the same vibe for me, they feel so fake

Disney's loosing it's touch. They stopped caring about animation, besides Frozen 2 (unless you count photorealistic CGI The Lion King reboot) and now they're focusing on live action reboots. To quote Mr Burns Where's the _heart? _

2: 02. Um, Phineas and Ferb did have a movie already. Across the 2nd Dimension. I don't care if the events were erased at the end, but it was still good and still in canon to the show.

Oh no, live action will cause a run on buying cocker spaniels, Scotties, bloodhounds and terriers puppies. Hopefully the shelter dogs will cause adopt instead of shop.

Please don't ruin Sister Act, the first 2 are gold and childhood memories, a third could be great for the new generation as long as they do it right.

The Grimm Legacy huh? That was a good book. I read it the first time several years ago. Boy is a movie version going to make it seem cheep.

I'll be interested to see if they credit Peggy Lee for the songs, and how they handle the characters of Si and Am.
