I love the original forever. The new one is okay but it lacks so much like the mystery is not there, the beauty of the magic lacks, their reactions to magic are not realistic at all but I think thats more of a problem with the directors not showing the actors how to correctly show the right emotion with the right timing. Overall the new one is anticlimactic, complete copycat of the original one too but doesnt do a good job at it either. I like the storyline in the new one tho the modern twists are nice but I wish they would integrate the two like bring in the sisters from the original and the writers and directors too that would be awesome. I also hate how the new one is not acknowledging the original one like I would imagine that anyone that decides to act especially lead roles in the new one should be like a real fan of the original but I guess not, I dont see any Union and it sucks. I said all that to say the new one overall sucks and the original is the real and best Charmed forever.

No matter how old or how young the original cast is they should have brought them back I'm sorry for the people who are doing the reboot you guys are good cast but you're nothing like the original! Which I still watch everyday I might even do my birthday party as charm the original in December I love all the original cast and the original cast is what made this even possible for them to even write a reboot if it wasn't for them there would be no reboot because they're original I hope that if they do another reboot it's with the original cast would Wyatt and maybe him older with his children and the charm cast as grandparents and aunties and uncles and fathers and everything else this is just crazy when I heard about this I was so angry and I'm still trying to figure out how it has any connection from the old charm series

Im honestly glad I found this video. I didnt even know there was a reboot or whatever until recently. Looking at it, I immediately didnt like it. Watching this video, I saw a small bit of the series and now I hate it completely. I prefer the original sooo much, that I asked for the whole dvd set for either Christmas or my birthday.
As for the LGBTQ+ part, it seems like its forced to appeal to a younger audience. I seen a bunch of shows trying to force it. Theres a fine line between supporting LGBTQ+ and treating it like its a trend.
Sure everyone has different tastes but personally, I refuse to acknowledge this even exists. Theres a special spot in my heart for the original. My mam-mam used to watch it, my mom used to watch it, and I grew up watching it. It will forever be one of my favorite shows.

But this utter trash reboot cannot have one minute without men bad, women rulezz.
It makes so much sense to point out that the demon feasts for millenia on strong, indepent women.
What a complete joke and disgrace it is, tarnishing great memories I had of the original.
I stopped after the first episode and so should you.
Whoever carried out this massacre should spent the rest of their life in Guantanamo and be waterboarded 5 times a day.

In my opinion the original charmed was way better than the reboot. the reboot didnt really make sense but it was okay! Phoebe and Maggie didnt really have the same power because in the beginning Maggie was able to read minds and Phoebe was able to see the future and past I really like the original because in the original Phoebe grew into her power and she learn to use it more. Phoebe was my favorite sister out of all the charmed ones I just related to her more. If you disagree thats your opinion but this is mine

Ive watched every single episode of the original and every episode of the new one. I went in with a mindset of not comparing the two, it simply being a whole new/different show to me, and I loved it. Both are great and the reboot is going to create an opportunity for memories in the newer generation. Im sad they have not renewed it for a new season and hope people stop automatically comparing it and instead be open for a new opportunity.

As a fan of the original charmed, I for one I'm not a fan of the reboot or in my mind it was a remake. It was lacking heart and other necessities that made the original great, the characters were poorly written, the white lighter's background was dull as were his power. The whole first season felt like a joke and I didn't proceed to watch any further than season 1.

I think it's very interesting that it only lasted for four seasons, and the original lasted for 8. I agree there is no new imagination in Hollywood. I wasn't a huge fan of the original after the first few seasons, but this was an unnecessary reboot in my opinion. Why not come up with an original idea? Just my opinion.

i grew up with the original and it was perfect in my opinion. this new one just is lacking so much. I hope they don't try to reboot buffy because these tv shows worked well in the time period it was in because tech wasn't advanced. how many supernatural stuff would be on the internet if they had todays tech.

This reboot was as necessary as any of the Disney live-action remakes. I always say if you're gonna do a reboot of something, do it as a next chapter to the original series that ended while bringing back most if not all of the original actors. If that's not a possibility, then just don't do it.

I am a diehard fan of the original and refused to watch the new one for years, but once you get past the first few episodes it is pretty decent. I still think the original was better, but lets be real neither show is exactly breaking bad level; both versions of charmed are dumb fun.

I am pretty interested in this video and think it is very well done BUT please can the narrator stop calling the OG sisters the HALLOWELLS. I know it seems silly or is it? I mean its about these sisters and their name was part of their identity and family history

The thing i disliked the most was the whole new age view points. Like use cis male etc. When there's nocis they're just biologically male or female. They're trying to throw in their agendas. Not just that, but just an example. Trying to be so PC

I have never been able to watch more than a couple of episodes of the Charmed reboot, even though I had a lot of issues with the original show (starting with witches being genetically different from other humans much like what JK Rowling did.

WB did the OG's wrong. Legacies had more charm with the Saltzman twins and Hope. The reboot is just. no. IDC if they trying to appeal to the new gen. If it ain't broke, don't fix it! CHARMED FOREVER

The rules in the new one is based off writers whim. The original is based off of actual Paganism and Wicca. And Phobes empathic powers came in later seasons. They should never have done a reboot.

I was a huge fan of the original but only watched the 1st 2 episodes of the reboot when it first came out and other clips I have seen online. the reboot seems very convoluted.

Technically, the original has FOUR sisters, not 3. Paige could have been the youngest baby sister, and half white lighter, kinda like the Andy Gibb of the charmed sisters.
