In 2007 when Chakra, as a kitten who'd probably been hit by a car due to her badly broken leg, showed up in my apartment's driveway and I adopted her, it was my male cat, Bodhi, who instantly fell in love with her and became her caretaker dad. Karma ended up also falling in love with Chakra, but it was interesting that a boy cat was so maternal.

It's a weird thing to realize, but it just occurred to me that I've never seen a stray Siamese cat. I've seen hundreds of stray cats in my life, but never a single Siamese. I'm sure that's because they're both more rare and more expensive than other breeds, but it still strikes me as a little strange.

Had a Stray cat come in our house and 7 hours later gave birth to one VERY LARGE kitten and then 9 hours later gave birth to 3 more 15 minutes after the next. The cat was not a big cat so was thinking that the 1st kitten took a lot out of her. The 1st kitten was twice the size of what a normal kitten should be at birth

The cat at the start looks EXACTLY like my grandma’s cat, same colour, same eyes, everything
But the back of my grandma’s cat is dark brown with small bits of white
But when she was a baby she was entirely white
The only other difference is that my grandma’s cat looks younger (probably because she is 2)

My family actually brought in a stray cat, and not too long after she gave birth to 3 kittens, one of them was grey and I got to keep her, her name was also Zelda. She was a sweet cat, and actually pretty smart. I miss her sometimes, she was an indoor outdoor cat and just didn’t come back one day.

I want to foster kittens so that my youngest cat has the ability to share his glee and joy with them. Unfortunately, I do not have the ability to do the other work required in fostering kittens.

I named a foster cat after the fairy Prilla. Had been reading the Gail Carson Levine books to my daughter and felt like she landed here for a reason and it fit. Found her a loving home and her kittens as well ( she was also preggers when we found her)
