Pizza pie, you call that because its TOO thick! It made me laugh when you said thin Neapolitan style, but it comes close I can tell you that. Google Neapolitan pizza right now and take a look. Lemme tell you, European pizza is very different, if you ever have the opportunity to eat at a real Italian restaurant do it, try real pizza, it will blow your mind! But that old dude, he knows his Pizza! XD

Try Not Ray's pizza in brooklyn. Definitely gives this place some competition. I think the reason why this place in staten island is overlooked is because getting to staten island is ridiculously out of the way. It's time they built a tunnel to let the subway connect staten island with either brooklyn or manhattan

I'm willing to bet all the pies in the world that they don't report their payroll taxes correctly. But, the pizza compensates for any violations which MAY exist. Joe and Pat's are coming to 1st Ave near 14th St in Manhattan so one needn't head over to Staten Island to enjoy their pies.

That isn't even pizza not, talking about being napoletana. half this - half that baked in a metal oven? +There is no hot napoletana pizza either. What this would get from a napoletana instead of the TSG certification is a puke at best.

I was born on Staten Island in 1963. I remember eatingJoe & Pats pizza as a kid. They made me the pizza snob and lover that I am today! They seem to make a bit thinner crust today. Back them I think the crust was a little more crust.

Am I only person who thinks pizza is an over-hyped, greasy, unhealthy, carb laden food? And it's not even that great, there are tastier foods in this world. Not hating on pizza lovers. Just my opinion.

My grandpa always brought me there when I was a little girl. It's my #1 favorite pizza place in the world. I went there for my 16th and 17th birthday and also after I graduated Highschool.

The huge influx of Italian immigrants into Staten Island came long before the VZ (guinea gangplank) was built. SI Italians became the dominant immigrant community back in the 1930's.
