This kind of food is the best possible scenario for fusion food. I have seen similar instances whenever two countries border each other. For example, the north-east side of India (Assam) that borders Burma, has some very special food, that is unlike anything I have ever seen.

Mr.
Jackson Heights is an amazing area to live. You have asians, a couple of blocks down you have Peruvians, Ecuadoreans, Colombians, Mexicans and hindus. The 7 train should be called the gourmet train because all along the 7 depending on which stop you can enjoy different global cuisines

Great episode! The food looked so good and it's a unique perspective. I don't think I've seen Tibetan food on any shows? Maybe for future episodes with food like this you can include a subtitle for the name of the dish. That way we can know what to look for on a menu!

man, I was there last Sunday around 12pm they weren't open as of yet. We went to a La Picada Azuaya and the food was damn delicious! If you must dine on a dime no better spot than Flushing! use chopsticks and marrow is a great resourse (besides Eater. peace

I went to that place. It was good. It was a bit unique. Jackson Heights doesn't have the best food (don't go to the Bangladeshi or Pakistani restaurants) but food like Momo and Indian Biryani and Shish Kebab is always good in this area.

Another really nicely done episode. This is the type of food many locals are not aware of. Thank you for sharing this delicious video. Do Key West Florida next. Wishing you and your family a Blessed Christmas Season. ChefMike

Aw man that looks good. Any chance of explaining the ingredients and sauces a bit better in future episodes? I really wanted to know what that red sauce and veggies in the dumplings were.

I'm definitely feeling some type of Asian, but your Spanish is decent so that throws a wrench in the whole thing. But maybe American of Filipino, Indonesian, or Laotian decent?
