Eater- read your comments. THIS MAN HERE IS THE FRANCHISE. get rid of all the other reviewers and hosts. they suck. They're not likeable. they're pedantic and condescending, pretentious and irritating. Most of all he doesn't come across as uppity snoot slumming it at a foodie place like the rest of those douches and hipster foodies. He's one of the people, not a person that would never have gone to a bad neighbourhood without a camera crew. This guy is a rare talent- do you know how hard it is to find someone to eat on camera- and have people like them! Watching someone eat is inherently annoying. I can't stand watching my own wife freaking eating without wanting to backhand her face and send her flying over the table. This guy is a prize. hold on to him. Feed him. Nurture him. Give him what he wants. Fire the rest. that is all. the people have spoken. Up vote if you agree.

I used to hit the original corner, generally later in the evening. The major pain in the rear was constantly being accosted by the streetvendors pushing socks and videos. I don't have that happening after the move, nothing else has changed, at least to me. Jim's islike a beacon in the night pulling people in, and I like that. I like the feeling of being able to pull in and hang out. I guess I'm gladthere's no inside seating. I'm also glad that Lucas didn't rave about these being the best dogs in the city. He explained what he feltabout them instead of just saying These are Chicago's best hot dogs, bar none. The polish with mustard and onions is right on, and this is the way fries should be served at every dog stand. I swear, someday I'm gonna try the pork chop.

You can not even imagine guys what real kielbasa or pork chop are. With all due respect but You do not have in US agribusiness which can be compare to polish. All this stuff which you eat in those places is made from a big industrial farms. The real pork chops or kielbasas must be prepared from the meat of real rural farms animals. For you Americans, trip to Poland is very cheap. Holidays here even more! So if you want to try real awesome pork chops and the real taste of kielbasa, you should came here to Poland. Find a local shop with meat from local farms and then have a freaky trip with taste of.

While it is good to see the Polish get it's props (IF, and only IF it is Kosher -that's how we roll in the 'Go, you cannot, standing in Chicago, tell viewers that Hot Dogs taste like cooked bologna. While that may be true for grocery store hotdogs (i. e. Ball Park, in Chicago we only recognize Vienna Hotdogs, which taste nothing like cooked Bologna. If you were standing in L. A, and said that, well then, O. K. perfect comment- put some catsup on it as well. Please try a Chicago hot dog before you make a generalized statement about hotdogs while standing in Chicago.

Every time I go to comment on how much I like Lucas and the videos he's in EVERYONE ELSE has already done the same thing. Please have Lucas do more than just dining on a dime! Everyone would appreciate being able to see him more often than Nick I won't even eat that because it's over cooked I hate ketchup on my burgers Solares. I'm sure Nick is a nice guy but Lucas has a much more lovable personality. To those over at Eater, I hope you all see this!

I couldn't tell, did sauerkraut go on them? Prefer mine with, but either way a sausage sangwich is amazing. I'm half dago and half pollock, Chicago is like my food paradise, honest to God, their Italalian and Polish cuisine is amazing, i also love chinese food, but I was ethnically blessed with mom and grandma's homemade Italian and Polish cuisine, God I love food. Was that a Zeppala he was eating at the end of video?

Lucas is a fantastic host, keep up the good work! Knowledgable with his own personality, but not over the top or outlandish like certain tv food show hosts we may see. It's all about mutual appreciation of good food at the end of the day. Just a matter of time before he gets his own show imo. judging by the many comments here I would imagine this is the general consensus.

I feel like Lucas would be a dude you'd meet in college on move in day, and he'd be your best friend from day 1. He gets along with everyone, and seems to have a real passion for what he does. Keep it up man!

Back in the day, after partying all night I would head down to Maxwell Street for a polish or porkchop sandwich. Let me just say that it was worth the drive at 3am. Thanks for the memories!
