These two have this job because their family owns a well known restaurant, but that doesn't make them good hosts or even moderately good food critics. They are just awful at describing the food and they reek of a sense of entitlement. Like we are just lucky to just watch them eat and say completely useless and generic things about the food like Oooh, this is really goood! I've never had anything like this in LA! Who gives a sht what you've had in LA? Give us better hosts EATER! There are dozens of people out there who know something about food and have a more likable demeanor.

The restaurant and all the food looks fantastic indeed but when I travel, places like Colectivo 9 are the last types of restos I visit. Spent 15 days in Mexico City in February and ate amazing traditional Mexican food day and night at fondas, taquerias, cafes, pastelerias, street food stands, carts and of course the many fantastic mercados. Hope the hosts hit up some more traditional places. Still, Colectivo 9 looks very cool. Fun video.

Eater, you guys need more ppl like Lucas and less ppl like these Lopez. they are so bland, unprofessional, and overall just boring to watch. They somehow manage to make all the good looking food bland and boring. We don't need hosts like that.

where is the traditional Mexican cuisine. I do admire the craftsmanship that these entrepreneurs are bringing to the city, but they should've focused on Mexican cousine with a little hip, it could've been waay better. food looks delicious btw.

Great, these pretentious hipster look-alikes again. Eater has a great thing with Lucas from Dining on a Dime, but this is starting to look a lot more like a trendy Buzzfeed segment than decent humans talking about good local food.

While I know a lot of places in MX can be a bit rough. When I went to Mexico DF I had some of the best food of my life there. Granted it was also goood to go around with a local friend which I suggest.

I'm not gonna lie, I didn't like these two in the first couple episodes. However the brother/sister angle is really growing on me, and I can appreciate the production quality. Keep making videos!

I was there recently and was extremely disappointed with the food! As a small business owner, I was excited to support. I hope to try it again this weekend. Hopefully the food is better.

why would do so many people hate on them? The other eater hosts don't get as much shade thrown at them. Maybe because they're brown I don't know though just a thought.
