Okay, so I just had to comment this. I'm from Poland and we are famous for dumplings which are called 'pierogi' and what you were using is maker for exactly this kind. The dough for pierogi is much thicker then what you have and another thing is that you are using this gadget wrong. I still remember my great-grandma using this (it was plastic not metal.

30 years making dumplings? How old are you! You don't look a bit pass 25 but if I was to do the math, the earliest you could have started making dumplings with the sufficient motor skills would be like 5 years old, then if you have 30 years worth of experience, that makes you 35? I dont believe you are anything pass 29!

Honestly I wasn't going to say anything buuut. Its just to inform the host and anyone watching. The dumplings that came out of the dumpling maker are called pierogi. They are basically Polish, and calling them ugly is so offensive to me. I get that she might've not known that, and thats why I am writing this comment.

Definitely prefer handmade. And honestly, having a dedicated dumpling press feels like a waste of space. Side note: people are always slow to embrace a new host. Stick it out and they'll come around eventually. Side side note: can we get that pork and kimchi filling recipe tho

I mean we all have to be impressed that she was able to use the machine to make 3 in 3 minutes and 35 seconds, but she learns very quickly, and is able to turn out 6 MORE in only 6 seconds: 1: 56 followed by the pesky last one that took almost 40 seconds.

I watched your video because I'm making dumplings today, and my girlfriend (the Asian half) offered to bring over a dumpling maker she uses for making empanaditas. I think we'll make a fun afternoon of it by racing to see which method makes more dumplings: )

Have seen numerous of the videos with this host, and one thing I really like is that she usually seems very objective and doesn't try to enhance a fail like some do. Keep her, she is doing an awesome and objective job and comes across very sympathetic imo.

We use that gadget to make curry puffs. we always use homemade dough. Maybe if u want to make dumplings and use the gadget, use homemade dumpling skin or large ready made skin. It easy to cut once you clip the skin. BTW, sorry broken eng.

I also think what you should take in to a big factor which a lot of people just over look because its not something we have to think about doing. Its people with disabilities this could help them a lot with making food they love at home.

Shes kinda too confident with her skills if you would ask me. Typical know-it-all person. Skeptic of new innovations, believes she does eveything better than everyone else. You can tell by her body language and the way she talks.
