Poo s back FoodTubers and this time she s got a classic Pad Thai recipe to share with you. Fresh juicy prawns stir fired with tofu, crunchy veg and egg fried rice noodles. Serve with a wedge of lime, chilli powder and crushed peanuts better than any takeaway and cheaper! NEWS: Since filming with us the Cooking With Poo kitchen in Thailand has suffered a devastating fire. While no one was hurt, the entire cooking school building, Poo's home along with the homes of her parents and neighbours have been completely destroyed. Money is being raised to reopen the school vital in giving those living in the slums a good future and money left over will help to re-house Poo, her family and friends. To find out more about the project and help with a donation visit: Or you can buy Poo s book Cooking with Poo - available here: Our friends on the Food Tube Network Tobie Puttock, Food Busker and Danny McCubbin have recipes from her book on their channels. Watch them here: Tobie Puttock: Danny McCubbin: Food Busker - Alternative- Sweet radish gives Thai food a unique sweet and salty flavour but it can be difficult to source. While you can leave sweet radish out altogether adding tamarind paste will add a sweet and sour flavour that can be used as a substitute ingredient. But guys if you know of any other good alternatives, tell us! We love to hear from you

Although it took me a while to understand what she meant by less onion, but I love the fact that she used only one of each. One pan, one spatula, one knife. She even deveined the shrimp using that huge chef's knife. This is truly real life cooking and not some show where they need to use 5 different spoons and 7 little bowls for all the spices.

Nice way of making a traditional pad Thai. really well done. If you want to learn how to make a non traditional way of making it, grain free, peanut free version, no sugar involved, come take a look at my version. You might love it. Aloha: )

Somebody give her subtitles She is good at cooking I m sure But it s not easy to think about what to do next, look at the camera, and do narrative job. Maybe saying in Gordon style would help lolprawn noodle sauce perfect!

This baffles me - If you're having someone do an instructional video, please let them speak their native tongue and put subtitles on. She could explain things much more thoroughly for those actually interested in cooking

Is this Jamie again. A complete idiot and a joke of a chef. I showed it to a Thai from Bangkok to see her opinion and it took 2 mins before she said. No onions in pad Thai. Jamie you fool

Poo translates to crab in Thai. Common nickname there, Also she used garlic chive, not spring onion, garlic chive is correct. Also tamarind paste is used in which they didn't film.

My people from Sumatera Island Indonesia Love that dish cooked quite spicy and salty. But Javanese people on Java Island Indonesia love the dish which has a sweet flavour.

I see that the alternative to the sweet radish is tamarind paste. But how much? Do you put the paste directly into the dish while it's cooking? Etc.
