Nice one! But can you make something for my friend. I'm celebrating my master's degree next Sunday, and my friend is having belly problems, she musn't eat fat heavy food. So I don't know what to cook for her. Can you make something that is light, fat and heavy spice free and not boring: ? Thank you.

I was wondering if you can mix the caramel with cream cheese and some whipped cream and mix in the banana's instead of layering(after the caramel is cooled ) and then put whip topping on top. Kinda of like getting an ice box cheese cake Banoffee pie.

I've always been terrified of making caramel by boiling a can of condensed milk but now I'm quite tempted to try it out! If it explodes all over my kitchen I'll be sure to instagram you a picture

I thought jamie's about fresh ingredients rather than tinned ones! And that chocolate bar neither! Had it been fresh caramel and dark chocolate i'd liked the recipe. Thanks anyways for trying.

I'm making this banoffee pie right now. My condensed milk is in a pot of boiling water at the moment, got my crust setting in the fridge. Hoping everything comes together perfectly. :D

Made this today, and the only change I made was using a Whatchamacallit on top instead of a Crunchie bar. Can hardly keep my dad (or myself) away from it. Delicious! :)

That caramel you made is what we brazilians call Doce de Leite, or Milk Sweet. We do desserts with that, but also eat with bread. Its really something amazing.
