When I was a child, my grandmother would serve up a dinner, and I would always mix the foods on my plate to eat it like you did. My granny seemed annoyed and said, if you wanted goulash, you should have told me. I still do that and I still think about her every time I do it.

I made this dish tonight for a light Sunday dinner. It was extraordinary. I used fish sauce in place of fermented shrimp and Italian pepper flakes in place of a long, red, hot chili pepper. It was awesome. My boyfriend loved it.
