As a Turkish couple, we were wondering about how Mark missed mentioning baklava throughout his previous video in Gaziantep. Now we got the answer, he has prepared a whole video about baklava itself. Surely baklava deserves it's own episode, very good decision there: D
By the way, Ugur does a fantastic job about explaining the food and the customs. Not many people we have seen so far were this successful. Kudos to him as well! And Mark, it has always been a pleasure to watch your videos. Bless you, man!

Baklava is the best in Gaziantep and no where else in Turkey. Gaziantep is literally the capital of Baklava in Turkey. Gulluoglu (Omer Gullu) Store is the best choice of eating Baklava in Gaziantep and rest of Turkey although it is a little bit expensive according other Baklava Stores in Turkey you eat real Baklava only there: Thus, very good choise Mark Wiens going to Gaziantep and trying Baklava there.

13: 21 When i saw afgahistan, i was shocked because it was so dirty everywhere and;
When i saw Turkey, i was shocked because it was very clean generally, not like other middle east countries. Especially i mean Turkish homes, they dont even enter in their home with shoes. Turkish homes are one of the most clean ones in the world as Japanese homes, Japanese enters in home with shoes as well.

Thank you Mark, you chose excellent Turkish foods for your show, and usually the best ones, Just a reminder, in Turkey we Turks almost always eat with fork and spoon: ) Also we don't eat Bulgars but bulgur (pronounced bulgour: )

Among the best places I’ve eaten; Paris, New Orleans, Sapporo, Semarang, and Gaziantep, I’d put Antep near the top. You were lucky to have that guide. We were there two years ago and I’ll find my way back soon!

How disgusting, all that cheese in your mouth and then trying to talk as well with your mouth open I bet that man thinks what a disgusting article you are too chomping the food like a cow eating grass.

I love baklava despite my scale hating it! It’s so rich, but I love it!
First time I had it, I felt like that kid in the movie Narnia when that white chick gave him a tin of Turkish delights.

This is more then I'd eat at Christmas. We eat a cracker with cheese and drink strong black coffee for breakfast. and yell at people to shut up in the morning as a desert. The contrast.
