Estate Planters (Part 2) & Decorating the Front Porch! Garden Answer Debra: This may just be my favorite project of yours thus far this Christmas season! You are so creative! In fact, I bought 2 of the birch trees for my screened porch and love them! I live on a corner so neighbors have complimented them (our neighborhood has lots of walkers who notice them at dusk and just after dark)One possibility for the door with the berry wreath might be to use a spotlight pointing at it from a few feet beyond the steps/sidewalk. My front door is Charleston green, as is my storm door (setup like yours) and my large green wreath didnt show up well, even with the lanterns on either side turned on. Love how it looks with the spotlight! Id share that, but pics dont upload here. Merry Christmas!

I love it! It turned out so pretty. I also love those trees. I am going to keep watching them and maybe they will go on sale. I decorate with cardinals, too, and bought a pretty cardinal tree topped a couple of years ago. I think it will look great to light the box topiaries and I would also suggest putting red bows on the garland at the bottom of the stairs so as to bring the red color down.

To decorate my font porch, I pulled out limbs from our old retired plastic/metal christmas tree. Shoved a bunch into a big basket sticking up, wrapped on lights and bulbs, magic! Used a bunch of the rest to go up a trellis next to the front door, and buried the stick part of the tree 'top' into a bale of straw at its base for a little tree.

It is mid winter now where I live, but not december. Just watched this and your other beautiful xmas videos. I loved the porch, so pretty and those little bird ornaments in the trees were just gorgeous. Thanks for all your work in these videos.

Adding more of those trees inside enclosed patio would also be nice, and adding red, or green lights on the topiaries rather than blending clear lights along the other clear lights. Other than that, it all looks nice. The fall decor was also nice too! Thank you for sharing.

Hi, it's great to rewatch these around holiday time! For my exterior garland and wreaths, I put small eye hooks above the trim. Then I got little carabiners to put on the decor. It is so fast and easy to put up and take down

What a beautiful area! Those trees are lovely and you're so clever to add the little birds - the red pop they bring is the perfect note to tie everything together. And lovely, as ever, to see Russell!

I love your enthusiasm, I wish we had Christmas in winter. It's too hot here to enjoy the season into the darker hours. I loved the trees with the Cardinals on them. A pretty bird.
