13 Rose Varieties #13
video description
I just love the information you give in the videos and its very helpful to me. I only like to get my plants from PW I just love it.
I like to get some advice from you.
In my front yard I have Peonies red colour (Herbaceous, hydrangea pinky winky, limelight hydrangea and Quick Fire (Early Blooming) all from PW.
Quick Fire is a tree and its 10 x 5 chunk (its corner of my front main door) and dont have anything there except hydrangea tree.
Can I put Oso Easy Paprika Rose or Oso Easy Lemon Zest Rose? Therefore I can keep my garden colourful in summer. I am in Zone 6 Toronto, Canada.
Thank you for your help.

Have you ever thought about a formal Rose Garden? Around the Hartley, maybe. Old garden roses, David Austin. Include beneficial plants as well to assist the roses in their disease resistance. Boxwood hedges around the roses (since alot of roses have 'ugly legs' lol) Climbers like. Eden, Zephrine Douhine, etc. I can't tell you how much I enjoy your videos, Laura. You have such a magnetic personality and a beautiful family. Thank you!

Would love some ideas on plants to use in my back yard sloped shaded garden. I have hostas, hardy geraniums foxglove tall phlox sedum iris large leaf hydrangea and others for mostly shade. Grouping is my biggest challenge. I constantly am watching you videos but can never seem to put things together to make my garden pop. Do not have enough bright colors. Please help! I would be glad to send a picture. Thankful!

My mum always loved Queen Elizabeth roses. I would like to plant them in my garden to honor her life. They are hard to find but I have located a garden center that does carry them. Do you know much about them? Any advice?

The reason Roses are grafted or budded is because. root stock is more hardy/ disease resistant so protects the plant. Never allow the root stock to grow or the scion will dry up. I also like own root types.

Could you, please, give us more information about roses we could keep in a pot. I am looking for varieties that would remain relatively short and compact and I could keep in a big pot. Thank you!
