Helping My Parents Plant Bulbs and Water Their New Spruces!

No matter what you're working on today, taking all of us through it is a great pleasure.
I'm a gardener. I lived and worked in North Dorset, UK last 14years. Gardening is a big part of my family life.
A part of my job I'm running a gardening class in the local school. Kids love to play and get their hands dirty no matter planting bulbs or just checking on the vegg garden.
I was so inspired about the Spaghetti pot you've done that I've copied your idea down at the school. You're amazing. A huge thank you for being such a great source of inspiration.

Can I salvage these bulbs? I have 75 asiatic lilies which now have pretty long roots growing out the bottom. 100 Scilla Siberica, 50 Anemone blanda, 10 Astilbe Europa (sprouting, 10 bearded iris (sprouting, and some scattered crocus (sprouting. Please help!

you are a wonderful daughter, I'm sure your mom & dad really appreciate it. I'm jealous that I cannot do any work right now in the garden, we've got snow on the ground and freezing temps, I'm zone 5 also but no where near as nice as your area. Since I cannot plant anything, I'm reviewing lots of your videos and taking notes on what I'd like to do in the spring. Thank you for your videos, they are so inspiring.

Watching all the bulb planting reminded me of an episode of Martha Stewart from many yrs ago, she had Becky from Brent an Becky's bulbs on planting, Martha asked Becky what one thing she would give for advise, she said if you aren't sure which end is up, plant the bulb sideways an it'll know what to do. Looking forward to seeing your parents gardens in the spring as well your own. You're a good daughter =)

So sweet to see you doing these labors of love for your parents! I was wondering why you don't use knee pads instead of a kneeling pad? I like the mobility of not having to rearrange a mat by wearing them. (Side note- the more expensive knee pads I've tried actually are uncomfortable compared to the cheap foam ones you get at the dollar store but those have even last quite a while for me)

I find your videos to be very therapeutic and helpful for me during all the down time with my pregnancy. My husband works nights and I can't stand to be alone so sometimes I just binge watch your videos and feel a million times better! What a wonderful job you did helping your parents. It's so nice you know where and how she plants everything in her garden. They have a beautiful garden also. You and Aaron are so awesome, it's fun to see you at your parents house, and to see what is going on there, you are amazing and such a good daughter, what a great family you have and it's great that you share and help out whenever possible. Laura you're so sweet for lending a hand to your parents. I know that that's how family works, we are similar, but there's a lot of families out there who have lost that quality. Loooooooove the look of those lollipop spruces in those containers, they look festive already!
