I love to make the last arrangement from my garden. I just did the fall cleanup this weekend. It challenges my creativity. Thanks for making gardening fun. I alway enjoy your walks through the garden and your ability to admit when things don't always go right. Sometimes you can do everything right and mother nature doesn't cooperate.

QUESTION. I loved the idea of gathering some things together,
thank you. NY QUESTION is this. You said you would water them, but not switch the water completely out. Is there a reason for this? I usually throw all the water away and completely refill with fresh water. Love you guys

I live in the colder part New Zealand. We grow a variety of Osteospermum plants in our landscape and they are definitely perennials for us. Osteospermum plants are really ver hardy. I dont prune them back until spring and then take them back quite low to the new growth at the base.

I have new flowerbeds here at my new house. Not a thing left blooming this year except my Chrysanthemums. They didn't get bloomed out well before the freezing temperatures started. but. I am going to look for a Coral Bells bush. I am in love with them.

Some great finds and Laura you have an eye for finding the perfect items for a beautiful arrangement (so inspiring) When foraging, you didn't place them in your usual pail of water, and did you put any food or sugar or? in the water to make them last longer?

I think your heart is in the right place, but. I know you want to give people the joy of flowers but to give so many free flowers may be hurting growers in your area that do this for their living may be harmful to them. Just a thought. Love watching your family.

Well done! This is my favorite bouquet so far -I think it's the berries. I literally just this morning cut back my Hawthorne Tree & some Virginia creepers & I'm sorry I didn't watch this video YESTERDAY. Love seeing the mini-Batmobile mower in the back.

This video inspired me to pick plants and flowers from my garden, make an arrangement and bring it to a friend for her birthday! Didnt realize how many varieties I could use from succulents to tree branches and of course flowers. Very fun!

Do you spray your arrangements with anything to keep the petals from falling off? I used to spray my flowers with aerosol hairspray to help preserve the petals but I don't buy aerosol sprays anymore so I don't know what to use.
