2 Houseplant Arrangements Garden Answer Deanna: First off, congrats on baby girl! Hopefully you'll be getting some rest for the next little bit as you and your growing family bond! But I do have 2 questions. I'm just starting to grow houseplants again because I feel more confident in my growing skills! (BTW, thank you for that) First question: how did you keep that ivy so healthy in a pot without drainage? I'm struggling finding just the right pots and the ones I love don't have drainage. Second, I noticed you didn't include any starter fertilizer when you planted all of these. Is that something that isn't necessary with houseplants?

I impulsively bought a grape last summer. I never planted it and it will be a miracle if it survives the winter in it's little can. I didn't plan on where I was going to put it and I know nothing about growing grapes. Your grapevine is very pretty and I like the shape. More info on how you take care of it, does it actually produce grapes?

Love the arrangements and when you said it should be timed so its released after Baby Girl has arrived I rushed over to Insta and saw beautiful Samantha Grace. oh she is absolutely heavenly and I think looks a lot like her Mumma.
Congratulations to you all and I hope Big bro is loving her and the changes she is bringing too.

You're a natural. Laura I really you should reconsider a deal with HGTV. Your passion just bubbles over. You are 9 months pregnant in this video but yet you soldiered on. Such an inspiration. We bought our own hydrangeas and a False Star jasmine this week. Both in white. You've given me so much inspiration

Hi Laura! Those turned out really beautiful! I love the trellis you made for the ivy. I've tried growing ivy, but they always end up with, or already have, spider mites, so I haven't tried them for years. Thank you so much for sharing! Also, loved hearing the rain!

My question is how do you keep the kitty from chewing on your house plants? I am careful to only bring in non toxic ones but our cat chews on all of them. To the point of them becoming quite unattractive! :( Thanks for your ideas, everyone!

What humidity level will the room with the square pot be? I have Fittonia, Begonia and Baby Tears and I feel like I have to give them extra attention when it comes to the humidity. Either way, they look great!
