Found an Awesome Deal on Topiary to Replace Some Dead Ones! Garden Answer Cynthia: Ok, so I need Aaron to do a tutorial on the Dead Weed Brew. I got the exact product, mixed it correctly, the way he said to do and it did not kill my weeds. Please help! I live a half hour east of you guys, so same climate. I sprayed two gallons of the stuff on a late morning when it got really hot that day. I really dont want to spray glyphosate if I dont have to, but I have an area that is too big to pull by hand.

Hi Laura! Next year I will be moving and will be switching to planting in containers only. I plan to order the salad bush cucumbers that you had great success with this year. Are there any other small vegetable plants (or seeds) that you would suggest for container gardening or could you do a video on your favorite small space veggies/herbs? Thank you so much!

Great tip on sharpening pruners. Thank you for taking the time to stop and share that with us. Im a new gardener and theres so much I dont know. Just today I went back to one of your older videos on treating insect problems. I never thought Id have to use these treatments in my yard. But my red maple got it - skeleton leaves. Ugh!

What size terra cotta pots did you get from Home Depot? Our local Home Depot only carries up to 18 diameter. I always feel that is way too small to repot shrubs/topiary/trees. So my 2nd question is, how do we know what size pot is needed for things you would like to keep in them year after year?

One of my dreams has been to have a garden center. How did your parents get started with their garden center. Sorry if you have answered this before. Also envy you for being able to have all the greenery you have. I live in Zone 3, so I'm a bit limited. Love your gardens!

Laura, 1 love the fact that your hands get messy and you don't care how they look as long as you are in the dirt. 2 seeing the Hartley peeking through the trees behind you during this project was just amazing it is so pretty. You have me wanting one now!

Those Lollii-pop Serbian Spruces. must always water spray hard regularly with hose to clean dead needles out of interior and to flush out Aphids who hide in the dense Lolli-pops. The same goes for any miniature/dwarf Spruces or other topiaries.

gosh i wish i could have those junipers at your parents house that are being removed, totally understand it though, some wild short trees around had to be intensely pruned because they were pulling themselves out of the ground by the weight of fruit

I parked in an empty area at the end of the parking lot to keep my new car safe. A gust of wind blew a loose cart into my passenger door and it left a small dent. So my new car has been dented ever since!
