I planted an Amethyst in Snow in a flower bed 2 seasons ago. Last year I noticed that it was much larger than the previous year and last week I saw that it was coming up a good foot away from the main plant. I had no idea (I'm very new to gardening and didn't read up on it as I should have) and was not told by the woman at the gardening centre that it would get so big or naturalize the way that it has. Thank goodness that it's a big flower bed!

Im n Melbourne and grow snail vine outside next to a big eucalyptus tree. Its a beautiful fast growing vine that will flower late summer, then cut it back in early spring to keep it under control. Beautiful flowers, in fact one of americas famous presidents ( cant remember which one) called it the most beautiful pea in the world, check it out online.

Ugh, I loved those rain shots! I know you dont get a chance to film them very often but I would love to see more of those when you guys get the weather for it!
I live in the south where it rains frequently and I never get tired of it. Hope to put in tall giant glass windows in the house we are building so I can just sit and watch the rain.

OHHH! The sound of that rain is DIVINE! I could watch the camera sweep across all your gardens with that rain as the background noise all day! The pop of pink color is glorious and I adore that Dumbo plant. Love it all! Can't wait til the weather lightens up here is Michigan. still too darn cold!

I really appreciate that you just try different plants and see how they go. Sometimes I feel like I am wild and just try different things just to see what works. Thank you for showing us that even an expert like you flies by the seat of your pants sometimes!

Great vlog as usual Laura!
Speaking of poppies, how are your Mom's doing that the two of spread a month or two ago? I was so inspired I spread some (5b) among a bed of daffodils and they are going like gang busters! I'm so happy, thank you both!

I love the rain
As it pitter patters on my window pane.
It makes the garden grow and the rivers flow
And everything green again.
That's why I love the rain! An Aussie song for kids.
