Dear Laura as soon as I started watching your video, few minutes later I had to pose and run outside and water the plants, pull out some weeds and stalk some blackberry bushes. Thats how much excitement and positive energy you give me every morning. Oh and I am back now to finish watching the rest of the video and recharge myself and go outside again and get some more work done thank you for encouraging MANY people to turn their neglected garden into beautiful garden.

As a new gardener, I'm so grateful to have found you! I love listening as I paint in my garden (I'm an artist - I'm not painting my plants LOL)
I'm in Manitoba which is Zone 2, and would love to add a hibiscus or 2 to the plans for a new bed I'm starting this summer. Is there a way to help them survive? Or am I better off choosing something more hardy?

The new garden is looking so good! Cant wait to see it in a couple months from now! Question does the black lace elderberry spread by rhizomes? I had a elderberry plant years ago and it popped up all over the place. I had a tough time killing it before it took over my back yard. But I love the black lace elderberry and would like to try one

Thank you so much for all that you do! Each and every video instills so much confidence and inspiration! Thank you both for so much joy you have brought into our lives! What Espoma fertilizer would you recommend for Hibiscus? And when should they be fertilized? Proven winners fertilizer weekly as well? Thank you again.

Hi Laura. My summerific berry awesome hibiscus is all flopped over and touching the ground. This is it's third year and I do cut it back every year. We did have some wind but I didn't think enough to knock the whole shrub to the ground and keep it there? Any ideas. and should I stake it now? Thanks

Regarding the black lace elderberry at one of my favorite nurseries in Western NYS, they limbed one up making the most gorgeous tree. As a bonus it had this wonderful gnarled bark. Now to find a spot. Thank you for the inspiration, joy and peace you bring in these chaotic times.

I live in Canada, just wondering if I can plant my hibiscus in the ground & leave it there all winter. Would it come back the next year if I did. Is it best for me to put it in a pot & bring it inside for the winter. It gets really, really cold here like -25 or lower times.

Im really enjoying watching all the new planting. Its so relaxing and fun to see. We are in a terrible heat wave - expecting 105 degrees this week - so weve retreated indoors for our winter. Thanks for giving us something to do in the meantime. :)
