Oh my heart! Samantha is precious! She made my heart smile today. The hopscotch demonstration was just precious.
I love how attentive you are with her and Benjamin. As someone who s parents weren t attentive, it s beautiful to see.
The planters are beautiful.
I need that sedum! I planted the Back in Black sedum after you showcased it in your garden. I m not disappointed! It s so beautiful. I have an entire sedum collection garden, that s how much I like that plant. It s so versatile and not the normal garden bed plants.
I planted violas and pansies last fall and last week, I just pulled out the end of those plants and planted new pansies and violas. I was so impressed with their staying power during the heatwave this summer. I kept waiting for them to wilt so I could replace them but they didn t need it until a couple of weeks ago.
As always lovely video.

Samantha was so adorable with her hop scotching moves! I collect lions and this stuffed animal was so cute. In yesterday's video where she said the marshmallow smelled delicious was just the cutest! It so cool watching her and Benjamin grow. He was so excited about the fish yesterday but wasn't too happy with getting in the cold water. lol but sure was a trooper doing so. You have such a lovely family and I'm excited I get to see a small part of your everyday life.

I loved watching you plant up the pots I like that they re in a little asymmetrical. I love the pieces of lilac branches in there. I think they had such a cool fall vibe in the air one or two of the ravens or crows whatever they are.
I love that you re not all business that you stopping and interact with Samantha. She s very kind to her lion, but her hopscotch demonstration made my day. Have a wonderful day and enjoy your beautiful weather.

While avidly watching you plant up fall planters and some Sedums, I was wondering what shovel you were using? It looks like something I would like, because I am vertically challenged. A great winter video could be your tried and true garden tools- favorites and failures. I know I would be very interested, you haven't steered us wrong on any of your suggestions!

My oh my, Samantha Grace, you and Benjamin just melt my heart. Samantha, I love your outfit, and your ponytail is just too cute! Oh, and Samantha, you rocked doing hopscotch! OH yeah, Laura, your containers are beautiful! The purple flowers next to the Hartley are absolutely beautiful! Those flowers come back for us here in Tennessee.

Thanks again for your videos and all you do! I ve been working my way through your library of videos while quarantining and thought you could have used your pole saw from spring 2020 for cutting your branch! Also, when do you stop planting? Is it ever too late that the roots will not establish enough before frost?

Loving Samantha s hopscotch skills. She is so adorable. Loving the branches in the planter. And I have been meaning to get some kale. They are pretty for fall. Thanks again for letting us be apart of your life. You, Erin and the kids make my mornings so special. I watch every morning before I get started with my yard.

There is no way I could get myself to pul out the Harley containers. They are gorgeous and the purple is your Halloween color. If anything, I try to add something orange in or around them and that would be how I'd decorate them for Halloween. Samantha Grace is so much fun, love that girl!

This may or may not surprise you -- I actually ATE Wheaties as a little girl. I had such a good mama -- there wasn't a nourishing breakfast, lunch + dinner we didn't have. Mom is 92. 5 now, and has pushed herself to get EVERYTHING she set her mind to, done. Love that woman.

I feel you, Samantha! That's how I do hopscotch. Love that you have your kids so involved and that you don't edit your normal life out, makes you a real family. Those kids will grow up to be amazing adults with the love and care they get. Your doing a great job Mom and Dad!

Those artichokes are absolutely beautiful! I don't know why mine always loose all their leaves by the end of the season. They will usually end up growing back the next year but they never get nearly as big and beautiful as yours do in the first season.

I love all your fall containers, they are beautiful. All the different textures and colors. Little Samantha and her lion was so sweet. I really am starting to love sedum it looked so pretty where you put it. Great video. The crows just topped it off.

Thank you for sharing your fall containers. It gets me in the mood for fall. Samantha is so adorable. I love when the kids and fur babies are in your videos too. Douglas is letting you pet him and pull away without swiping at you for more pets.

Gah! Samantha is THE CUTEST! That sweater with the bow tie in her hair and the shoes! Perfect fall outfit! (Now if the weather would cooperate! ) I love kiddos speech at this age. Adorable.
Thanks for sharing your garden and family with us!

I need that creeping Jenny! It s gorgeous. It grows so well here and purple is my favorite color! Samantha is so sweet! Thanks so much for sharing them with us. My boys are teenagers now. I so miss that young squishy full of wonderful stage!

Omg! The purply goodness by the Hartley! Gorgeous! The artichokes look kind of like spiders coming out of those boxes. The crow pots are perfect! . Samantha s bats that Bethany helped with, so Halloweeny looking. Thank you for this posting!

Love the new planter and the gnarly branches. I m probably in the minority but I really don t like sweet potato vines anymore. I don t like plants that gobble up their growing companions. The planters look so much better without them!

Samantha is just the sweetest! I'd probably nickname her Pebbles with her ponytail! The containers look pretty. For Fall I definitely lean into the richer color pansies for more impact. I would not be pulling the purple verbena at all!
