In this episode we're switching gears and heading inshore to fish a river for flathead, brim, whiting, trevally and cobia. The session starts off great when Mike hooks a trophy flathead on his second cast. Then we head back to camp to cook it up with one of Marty's special recipes

Enjoying your content dude, but that flatty was too big to keep. they are the big breeders. A lot of the old guard might not care so much, but the new generations of fishos over here are very active in respecting the fish we fish for and helping the stocks build up. That gaol (jail) has a lot of wicked history, would have been cool to see you talk a bit about that

This is pretty painful watching you ruin a flathead with doritos, and then ruin it further eating it with sausages.
Also, good fish but not the fish of a lifetime by a long way. And for the future, anything over 65 (ish) would be considered a female breeder and should be released. Plenty of smaller flatties out there for the table anyway.

Baby browns are worse than the adults, they don't know when to stop injecting their venom and they inject more than a lethal amount: )
