Announcing the GN Bar Runner Bar Mat with PC Component Design

We're extremely excited to announce our new GN Bar Runner Bar Mat. Like everything else we make, we wanted to take something and make the absolute best possible version of it. We paid high attention to detail to every part of the GN Bar Runner: This 24 x 5 (or 610 x 127mm), 8mm tall mat has gradient edges for the GN logo, smaller gold pins for PGA or LGA socket representation, and even half-height legs for the resistors in the rubber mold. The GN Bar Runner is spill resistant, using its raised edges to contain spills and components to route them, and it s easily washable under water. We ve completely repurposed the idea of a bar mat and designed it specially for PC builders and electronics fans, making for a unique table topper for keyboard-side use, use near the dishwasher or sink for drying glasses, or just in the workshop in the garage.

Uh. This is too wide for a real bar mat. I would have used it at a real bar. That would be intense advertising. Sad it was too computer geek oriented. it does look beautiful. It just cannot fit in a bar. It also does not have a cocktail glass holder for prepping a martini style drink. I wish it was more functional. I would hit it like a crack pipe. Probably really expensive to make a 2nd one though.

Looks fantastic. I can't help but wonder about the increasingly opposing models of GN and LTT, the latter of which has become 90% Ads or showcases and 10% Useful content, Linus will crucify anyone and be ready to shoot a sponsored spot for them the next second, honestly it's pretty disgusting, GN and Hardware Unboxed are the only ones I enjoy watching at this point. rant over.

I decided not to wait for the in depth review by Paul's Hardware and ordered my Mat right away even though the only benchmarks we have came from the manufacturer :-).
I'm so looking forward to increasing my chances of not spilling on my keyboard or mouse mat.

Now the AMD reveal date makes sense. They had their hand forced by GN. If they d gone the day after the bar runner was announced, nobody would have even glanced at RDNA2. Crafty move, Su!

HA!
I NOW know that Snowflake has O.C.D..
That ice cube required a feline's touch for precision placement, MUCH LIKE, the attention to detail seen in the bar mat.
Purfect!

Imagine pouring a nice clear shiny silicone resin into it? Not to fill in the gaps completely, but just give it a nice pop.
This is already pretty sick, though, so don't me.

I have never wanted something, that I currently have literally no use for, this much.
Time to build a home bar just so I can justify buying this mat + glasses to they wifey.

Not only a great product but a great video. Excellent work all round. Are you going to send Kyle one to put in his water cooling builds when he forgets a blanking plug?

I can already see a use for this other than as intended - roll-proof area for writing implements and tools - makes it a must hav for my home office.

I first saw the title as Announcing the GN Bar and was disappointed when I didn't see any alcohol
Edit: I got 16 seconds in, I'm now satisfied.
