6:09 honestly, I think Gigabyte needs to get a closer look. My feeling is that that's a questionable company. I bought a 2080 Gaming OC from GB in 2019. The most expensive card I ever bought. Had one of the worst fan control of any card (fan kept trying to start but had too low a voltage resulting in continuing clicking noise every few seconds) and was never updated/fixed. Will never buy Gigabyte again.
Then there's the fact that GB puts out new GPUs with gigantic coolers. Which is in part probably just so that people think they buy something good. But is probably mostly show, also very unusable (3,5 slots seriously?) and even worse for the environment.

The same people are on the board of directors at Intel. They fired some scapegoats. But the people who directed others to lie to you are still their. These people were in charge when the hide the cryogenic cooler off stage. When they extorted 3rd parties to block AMD from contention. When it lost billions in fines to the EU and soon to other countries. Don't be fooled. Nothing has changed at Intel. Just slapped some paint on that old turd and opened up the marketing budget. I predict A LOT of advertising with major sporting championships this year.

I don't understand why people consider power consumption as a slight downside and not think about the bills at all. Let's say your PC has to do 5 hours of rendering per day, that's more than 15kWh/month extra electricity. Also the AMD CPU finishes its job around %15 faster, so that's another %15 you can save on. That comes down to around 2 /month too. So it doesn't really matter even if Intel is a 20 dollars cheaper, that AMD CPU will pay for itself in around 1-2 years. You get a quieter and faster system for essentially free.

some quality reviewerage there boys but I'm confused how is it not loads better than previous gen I thought rocket lake was supposed to go to the moon and also if the node was 10nm would that make it comparatively better performance than this silicon or just more better in power consumption thus less heat higher boost. I don't get it if you can't change nodes just make the last gen again with the core numbers again until you can shrink the process. reading this back I realise I don't write good lol

I was holding out hope that when Intel said double digit percentage improvements that they meant across the board. My final bastion of hope is that Alder Lake comes out and starts being competitive again. I know I could just buy a 10900k and be good for a little bit but I want the bleeding edge if I can get it so I can wait another 9 months. If Alder lake isn't competitive still though, AMD may get my money, loathe as I am to give it to them.

Please add iGPU review in your next Intel 11 gen processors review.. I have heard its supposedly upto 50 faster than Comet Lake.. I am only waiting for iGPU benchmarks to build new pc, as even, really old cards like 560ti, 660, 750ti have become really expensive in my country so if Intel's new iGPU can run esports titles like Valorant, CSGO it would be kinda blessing in this current gpu shortage.

I need to clarify somthing. Most people think you can use desert sand for silicon and that we have plenty sand. That assumption is WRONG. You can't use desert sand for silicon you can use only beach sea sand. Beach sand has been washed and most of the contaminates removed. Beach sand has pure silicon dioxide. Desert sand has iron and other elements mixed in.

Waste of sand? I could have swore that electronics grade silicon only came from quartz that is mixed with coal then heated to 1900 degrees Celsius then processed one more time, as sand has far too many impurities for anything more than glass...
I can't believe people still think they actually use sand. Good burn though regardless.

I got a z590 mb because my supplier was short of a bundle, i can't use the m2_1 because you need a series 11 cpu, i take it gear 2 enables that, as the sticker on that port says you need to enable it via the 11, i5 and above.
the other 2 m.2 drives are driven by the mb as per norm
