In this week's hardware news recap, we talk about rumors of an AMD R5 5600X3D, the RTX 4060's release date, a 128-core CPU with 1GB of cache, Steam's big updates, Starfield's space requirements, and more. thelegendguy: The Alchemist series of GPUs just keeps getting better and better and we don't know where the improvements end. It's funny that the A750 is already almost on-par with the RX 7600, and the A770 being pretty close to the RTX 3070 in many cases.

Graphics haven't gotten significantly better than in the mid 2010s. Game tech certainly hasn't gotten any better since we're still going wow so exciting! when a modern game has mid 2000s destruction in it. And yet, for some reason, modern games ask for hundreds of gigs of space and hardware that is x10 stronger than what would be recommended in 2014. Really makes you think.

I see what intel is trying to do. They want the whole benchmark graphs filled exclusively with their products. So no matter which hardware reviewer you watch, it'll be :
Core ultra 9
Core 9
Core i9
Ryzen 9
Core ultra 7
Core 7
Core i7
Ryzen 7
Core ultra 5
Core 5
Core i5
And so on

Don't think is the silicon, is the 3d cache chip they might stop using entirely so price drop to a point they wanna win the mid-range battle with the refresh model adding increase performance for cheap. they are already winning with the 5600x, the 3D for similar price would guarantee it if price is right.

I bet you Ultra/non-Ultra will be K/non-K skews.
And now, instead of talking about a 14700K (you can always drop the i7 in front of it cause it's redundant), you'll have to say it's an Ultra 7 14700, and you can't shorten this because you have to say it's the Ultra.

13:00 i've been wondering when PCB's would start coming in various colors. PC modding has been booming so much and people want to put their touch on more and more parts, so having PCB's in pink/blue/red/white/etc/etc/etc was only a matter of time.

5600X3D, yet again self-devouring product that will appeal more than AM5 to huge numbers of gamers still packing 5600X and below for whom 5600X3D will be more than enough for the games they play while also giving a great uplift in many games.

1:02 I can't wait until intel drops the units from performance charts as well. This Intel 5 CPU is 9 faster. The specs are 3 clock, with an amazing 7 speed and also a 17 uplift from last gen.

Starfield requirements: Hopium, fairy dust, and 12 months to wait for patches and a GOTY edition with all the DLC before I even read the reviews to see if I'll buy it.

There are 10 numbers and 26 letters in the Roman alphabet. How hard can it be to find sequences of numbers and letters that easily identify a certain product?

Really happy to see CFD software getting some love during the EPYC keynote. Now, let's see if I can sell a kidney or my soul to buy one, when it's available.

Next will be ultra ultra then ultra ultra ultra then ultra ultra ultra+ then ultra ultra ultra++ then ultra ultra ultra+++_______________________to infinity

Intel should have released the new name along with a groundbreaking product. Nobody talked about the M1 Ultra because the name was impressive.

the chopped off gigabyte card is secretly big brain for cooling the 12VHP connector to make sure it stays as little of a fire hazard as possible

Arc is still unable to enable 10bit option wiithout turning on HDR. And it seems that they are not willing to take responsibility on that

It is not too much. If there was a water-cooled (not AIO) 7900XTX with a pink PCB, I'd sell every single one of my organs for that
reply

Maybe Nvidia should rebrand the 5xxx series to DTX to better sell the performance doubling DLSS 3.0+ as hard as they have been.
