There was a lot of news to cover over the last two weeks and, coincidentally, we also got overrun with all that CPU testing recently. We wanted to catch-up on the news before diving deep back into product reviews, so enjoy another round-up before getting back to benchmarks. In this one, we're talking about CPU cooler announcements, a mini-ITX Jonsbo case, some unique mounting brackets, and a 40,000 SSD, among other things. Thank you all for allowing us a few days to catch-up on benchmarking! The news videos and streams help space it out.

(Note: Jonsbo V8 has 200mm fan stock, our fault for misreading that). Hey, everyone! We did an overwhelming amount of benchmarking in the last 2 weeks with 5 product reviews in 3 days (Phanteks P500, 3 CPUs, and the L2C Mesh). We needed some time to catch back up on review benchmarking and component testing after all that, so we filmed a bunch of these news videos to coincide with a busy news week. Thanks for letting us catch a breather and post news videos for a few days. Benchmarks start back up again tomorrow! We really do appreciate that you all will let us take a few days between that last product cycle before we start publishing test data again. It's exhausting to keep up with and news + streams helps space it out!

And the mystery around the Patricks intensifies... How many are there Steve??
For what it's worth, I wouldn't mind sitting through irrelevant ads once in a while. An ad for cat food surrounded by an in-depth analysis of the chonk chart may interest my cat (capitan obvious the second) :-)
Speaking about graphs, would it be reasonable to think AMD cards can be modded more easily for those double precision workloads? I know it voids the warrantee but hey if I can fix it, why not. Cheers, and thanks for the enlightening product stack again :D

Why don't you investigate Transmission and oil coolers? They have the same threads and hole sizes as PC coolers. You can get them in all different sizes and configurations. You can get solid copper radiators. You can get rads that are big enough to handle several overclocked units. You can even get them custom-made to fit a space. The cheap solutions are twice as big and half the price of a AIO.

So, that SSD's only use case is, literally 'massive companies banking on the decreased space and cooling requirements making up for the massive initial lump sum compared to other drives'?
Also, the lighting towers. If I wanted a lamp, I'd buy a lamp, it'd be cheaper. If you want to waste the money on it, that's your choice, but don't expect people not to point and laugh.

In terms of the value of RGB towers, if Corsair actually wants to make a product that benefits people, they need to make RGB lights that mimic the image on screen.
Philips Ambilight is a very cool system and in my opinion EVERY Gaming display should have something like it because it reduces eye strain when viewing in a dark environment.

I never pulled a CPU out of the socket when removing the heatsink as I was taught by various computing magazines back in the early 2000s that it would be best to turn on and warm up the machine a bit before working on replacing the CPU, cooler or thermal paste (warm paste was supposedly easier to remove than cold).

Corsair is a bit stuck up there own ass with regards to everything but there Memory.
GOD DAMN is there ram good, Corsair Vengeance black is my go to for builds. But when the person wants RGB they have the RGB Pro crap which honestly look pretty normal and not as gaudy as say G skills version.....

I understand the hate towards that RGB tower lol
I laughed hard. But for gaming in the dark that overpriced crap seems perfect to place behind the monitor. And not come out with my eyes hurting at 3am
I would never buy it. But that aliexpress idea seems also awesome

I almost disappointed when knowing that the 40,000 SSD is not NVME M.2 form factor and instead is a 2.5 SSD lol. I don't know why when I clicked the video, I was looking forward to see wheter it is possible to cramped in all that data in a very small M.2 form factor.

40k for 1 100TB SSD. Prices are insane. You can buy 100 1TB SSDs for a fraction of what that costs, just for the convenience of turning 100 into 1. So what exactly makes it worth 30k more? It's certainly not the convenience of having 99 less drives.
