Welcome to Day 2 of the Strong & Lean at Home Series! This is day 2 of a 5 day Series focusing on strength using only your own bodyweight to target the chest, triceps and burning energy. This type of training is important if you are wanting to create definition in your upper body, especially your arms! The chest workout today requires a mat, a book/block at least 10 cm depth and a stable chair(s. The main workout consists of slow and controlled movements targeting the pectoral, triceps and shoulder area to really help add strength and definition to the arms, shoulders and chest area. Take the movements slowly, rising and lowering with control throughout. Following this, we will finish with 10 minutes higher reps and plyometrics to increase heartrate, burn extra calories and really finish you off! The exercises are performed for 50 seconds of work and 10 seconds rest throughout the entire workouts. We complete 2 sets of the following: DIPS DIAMOND PUSH UPS UNEVEN PUSH UPS UNEVEN PUSH UPS PUSH UPS TO SIDE PLANK PUSH UPS TO SIDE PLANK SINGLE ARM TRICEP PUSH UP SINGLE ARM TRICEP PUSH UPS TRICEP PUSH UP HOLD WIDE PUSH UPS SHOULDER TAPS LOW PLANK KNEE TO SIDE UP & DOWN PLANK HAND PLANK KNEE TUCK TO ROTATE HOLLOW LOW SCISSORS TABLE TOP CRUNCH TOE REACH PULSES And to finish 2 x sets of the following; LUNGE 3 POINT TAP LUNGE 3 POINT TAP MOUNTAIN CLIMBERS PLANK TUCK TO PUSH UP HAND PLANK JACKS

Did this workout today! OMG I was floating in my own sweat! Felt really good after finishing it (though had to stop at times and also skipped push ups while doing plank to tuck because my palms were sweaty and slipping) Definitely aiming to do it better next time. Thank you very much for sharing it Caroline---

So, today was not my best day regarding strength. I really had to fight through this, even though I did most of the push-ups on my knees. No idea why. I like the idea of a HIIT finisher though, nice touch!
Let's see how it goes tomorrow. I'll finish this week! --

Hardest workout I've ever done by far. Maybe I shouldn't be working too hard on my period it just really upset me that I couldn't do what I wanted and I felt like a failure but I know that's lies my mind tells me during this time of the month xD

Hi, Caroline! So i started doing the lean and strong series last week. My goal is to lose some major fat for the holidays. Is this a suitable program? Or should I include one of your 20 mins hiit workout?
Or should I be doing more of cardio?

Note to self: Please read the exercise list description in greater detail before starting workout. Was so tired after the 2 rounds of 17 exercises. and didn't realise there was a high-intensity portion which included legs and stuff.

I was actually afraid to do this workout today, push-ups and more push-ups. But I have to admit, I did really well and I was amazed by how my upper body has become strong. I actually enjoyed and loved doing this workout. -

This is your hardest workout for me. I come back to it every few weeks to keep myself humble. The push ups, the 2nd round, and the HIIT at the end! Such a challenge, but I love it.

I have done this without any extra rest and without missing any steps. I didn't even take those Micro rests that u took in between the session Caroline sista. As i am inspired by u
