DAY 2 of EPIC - Bodyweight & Dumbbell Upper Body Workout - Caroline Girvan

Day 2 in the EPIC Program and let's hit the shoulders, arms, chest, back & core! This 40 minute upper body workout combines dumbbells and bodyweight exercises to hit all muscles in the upper body and core, to add strength, muscle and definition! Presses, rows, pulses and push ups. it-s all in here! This is a workout to strengthen your upper body and to practice movements such as push up variations! The exercises are paired into groups of 3 similar exercises and every 3rd exercise is a variation of push up usually relating to the previous 2 exercises. This is a lot of work for the upper body so stop for a moment to reset when needed. You will need a pair of dumbbells (my dumbbells are 8kg / 17. 6 lbs each for your reference) and a mat. Please ensure you warm up for at least 5 minutes prior to beginning. (See link below for my new warm up routine) Let-s push through to the end together! Your biceps will be burning, triceps tingling and delts done!

I have been lifting weights for two years now and have stagnated. I started EPIC I this week and love it. I feel great when finished and am wiped out. I can' wait to see the results. I plan to work through all of the EPIC Series workouts and then move on to the newly released Iron series. Do you recommend working through the various series in succession? Should rest days be after each 2 - 3 days of workouts. I am enjoying taking a fresh approach to my workouts. Thank you!

I made it to day 2, my arms feel like jelly and I was in fits of laughter at the fact that I kept falling to the ground, especially when doing push-ups. My arm strength is going to get better and I can't wait until I can do this workout with 8kg (currently using 3kg weights. Thank you again for another beautiful workout and I will see you tomorrow!

Caroline is absolutely fabulous! No machines or weights that I lift ever made feel so sore and accomplished! The work outs are super fun, energetic, and the fast tempo does not let you stop - just go go go! Her workouts are challenging and definitely do the job. She is definitely someone to look up to and get inspired.

Day two of revisiting this program after the end of Epic Endgame. Cranked out the diamond pushups like nobody's business this time around. :) Glad to have these programs available! Thanks for all you've done over the past two years, Caroline. Seriously got me healthy and fit again.

Loved the combo of movements in this work out - revisiting old work outs - Caroline is still as fierce as ever! Used 8kg each and was surprised by how much stronger I felt! Loved this work out - but then again, I am a bigger fan of upper body work outs than lower!

I-m a 49 year old former D1 athlete who works out year round (weights, biking, snowboarding etc) living at 8000 feet and this just kicked my butt. The constant changes in exercises plus minimal rest is just the right change I needed

Man I actually love the push-ups bc I can't wait to see how far I come by the time I finish this program! This is sooooo fun and Flys by. I started with 17s and had to drop to 12s lol! Day 2 complete!

Ok my skull crusher pushups are not awesome but first time I tried them in a later program, I couldn't even do one! Thank you Caroline, another great workout
