Day 2 in the EPIC Beginners Series for those of you wanting to progress to the full EPIC Program! For 30 minutes, we will be pushing, controlling, lowering, holding and pulsing our way through many challenging movements. A perfect workout involving the staple movements to master in order to progress to more advanced versions. This is an EPIC beginner upper body workout using your own bodyweight as resistance to build your strength and co-ordination! We will be targeting the arms, shoulders, back and core! This is a no equipment workout however, you will need a sturdy chair and a mat. Remember to work at your own pace! You can go slower, you can even go faster if you feel like it. just maintain form and alignment! The timer will be on for 45 seconds of work and 15 seconds rest to get ready for the next exercise. Every 3rd exercise is a Cobra Push Up as this is so great for that mind muscle connection to triceps, practise for pushing up bodyweight as resistance and lowering with control! Please ensure you warm up for at least 5 minutes prior to beginning. (See link below for my new warm up routine) Upper body here we come!

Thank you for doing these! After being sick for almost 2 years and losing a great deal of my muscle mass and function, I have really been struggling to find activities and workouts I can handle. My husband found your workout videos several months ago and has LOVED them (you kick his butt! The other day, after me saying I needed someone who was doing very beginner, body weight workouts, he found this series for me. While I can't get through the whole workout, I am loving the ability to get my body moving again and start slow! Thank you so much for doing these! I love the pace, timer, music, minimal talking, and the tranquil vibe! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! And thank you! I can't wait until I am strong enough to try some of your actual workouts!

This was a pleasant surprise? Don't get me wrong, there's still room for improvement (god those side planks, but I actually think I'll be ready for Epic in a couple of weeks. I dreaded day 2, because my upper body has always been the weakest part of me, but I think I took about the same amount of breaks as day 1. The Cobras helped, they were almost like an active break. I guess the one month I just spent doing beginners' pop pilates paid off! Looking forward to getting even stronger

I am so glad I found your page! I did Day 1 yesterday and my legs are SORE! After finishing up the upper body, I swear I laid on the floor for 30 minutes after I finished. My arms will definitely be noodles tomorrow! I love how there are videos that require only your body weight and videos that use equipment. Caroline Girvan you have made my motivation go from 0 to 100. I will definitely be doing more of your videos!

I thought I was in shape and strong because I lift weights. This was definitely an eye opener for me. This was a tough Day 2 for me but I will continue to push to build a stronger foundation and will do this series a few times before I start EPIC I. Thanks Caroline!

I have been doing the epic beginner's videos for about a month now! I can really feel myself getting stronger, especially my arms and upper body, as I usually watch workouts that focus on core and lower body. Feels good as a woman to have strong arms, lol: )

I've just finished day 2 exercises and I want to stay consistent and do the rest of your exercise videos from the Beginners program, I feel every inch of burn in my arms, and your videos made me realize how weak I am on my arms. -
