30 Min CARDIO WORKOUT at Home [LOW IMPACT STEADY STATE] LISS - Caroline Girvan

A perfect 30 minute full body no repeat, low impact steady state cardio workout at home (LISS) that requires a continuous, maintainable level of effort! Cardio workouts and HIIT workouts are very different. HIIT is absolutely one of my favourites however low impact cardio such as walking (daily steps target etc, swimming, cycling all contribute to improved cardiovascular health, great for mood boosting, burns energy and still allows for recovery. You have to be aware when your body needs a complete rest also. This full body cardio workout is a perfect session to burn that energy whilst not over exerting on those active rest days or after a weight session. No equipment required, you will simply need a mat and a bottle of water. Please remember that you can-t out train a poor diet. Nutrition, a training plan, training with intensity and activity levels outside of specific workouts all go hand in hand in order to see and feel results. The timer will be on for 45 seconds of work for each exercise and no rest. Ensure you pace yourself as there is no specific rest! What a fab wee surprise for a Saturday Afternoon. I have been looking for something to up the cardio for these cold winter nights. this is it. Great sets that keep full on work for the 30mins and keep the heart rate up my average was 138 and my calorie burn was 310. Great for rest days or for me in the evenings after an EPIC workout earlier in the day. Thanks Caroline - just what I needed. See you tomorrow.

This workout is fantastic for people who want to break a sweat. As someone with knee pain and having had knee surgery, I would just be careful because if your core is not strong enough or your knees are just healing I wouldn't recommend this because it hurts but I think it's a great workout regardless for people who want something that's not jumping cardio.

It seemed so easy when I pre-watched it on ffw but it is a very tough one. To me, a lot more challenging than an average HEAT workout in CG's program, which I am currently doing. Maybe it was the lack of breaks but I almost fainted towards the end. If this is recommended for an active rest day, I am still be very incompetent -

Caroline, I love you, but this is so far beyond my level of coordination: '. I can't complete the lunges or lunge-and-toe-touch. I wobble and feel like I'm going to end up overextending. Is there a cardio session that doesn't have moves that require that level of coordination?

Carolina, Carolina! If i could only like your vids one million times! I-m sad because I sprained my ankle so I had to stop epic III- but I certainly try to keep moving with caution and your videos are helping me a lot to overcome this situation. You are the best!

This is fabulous upto one point, but then you turned this into an ab and quAad workout.
Missed teh point for low intensity completely, idk abt others but core workout for 5 minutes without rst will definitely ruin my pace in a steady state workout

My favorite LISS cardio! It-s wet and icy here in Texas so no walk for me today. Decided to press play on this to get some movement in and I loved it. Perfect active rest day workout!
