30 minutes involving resistance to specifically the glute and hamstring muscles through hip extension and hip hinge movement patterns. The abductors, core and quads will all be working alongside the glutes and hamstrings to move through the pattern with control and aiming for that mind to the muscle connection. Think about how you are doing the movement throughout-can you improve the next rep even more? During RDLs, can you -exaggerate- the chest even more? Hips up and back more? Dumbbells even closer to body? Do you feel like pausing slightly longer at bottom allows you to feel this in the hamstrings more? With hip thrusts and whilst wearing a band, our minds can wonder but try to bring it back to focus on that glute band- pushing against it every second of the hip thrust! For this workout, you will need some dumbbells, a barbell or even a kettlebell! Aside from the weight, you will need your mat and a glute band. I will also be using a small sofa that is quite rigid for hip thrusts. If you prefer, you can perform bridges on the mat. The dumbbells I am using for your reference are 1 x 30kg and 2 x 17. 5kg ok each. The timer will be on for a majority of the workout 60 seconds of work with 30 seconds rest however towards the end some unilateral movements will involve no specific rest, rather switching to opposite side! RDL RDL BANDED HIP THRUST - SLOW PAUSED AT TOP HIP THRUSTS 1 1/2 REP HIP THRUSTS HAMSTRING HIP THRUST HAMSTRING HIP THRUST STAGGERED RDL SWITCH SIDE! SWITCH SIDE! SWITCH SIDE! LUNGE TO STAGGERED RDL SWITCH SIDE! SWITCH SIDE! SWITCH SIDE! SINGLE LEG HAMSTRING LIFT SWITCH SIDE! SWITCH SIDE! SWITCH SIDE! FINISHER! WEIGHTED HAMSTRING THRUST!

I don't really understand the staggered RDL, like where do I put my spare foot so it's not in the way? I found my form to be much poorer doing those because I just can't get my feet in the right place. Extra camera angles would be good for that sort of thing. Also am I doing hip thrusts wrong if they only impact my knees and nothing else? They just feel like a waste of time to me because they literally do nothing except burn my knees. It's very frustrating.

Phenomenal! Other than the fact that I just realized I did this workout out of order, it was amazing. I feel like I couldn-t quite find something to comfortably position for the hip thrust/hamstring thrusts until the last few exercises, but MY GOD, those staggered rdl with the lunges combo! New fav. ESP since I feel like it was the perfect way to perfect balance for a full lunge which I-ve always truly hated. Lol this one-s for the books Caroline!

Thank you so much, Caroline. I had to take a week off due to illness but I am back and I am committed to getting through each workout, even if it takes 2 months! Do you have a technique to help the brain focus on the right muscles for each exercise? I want to be sure I am using the proper muscles.

Just finished day 8 and added the finisher because I felt like I wanted more. Feeling amazing. My backside has never been so firm. I still have more work to do but big win - I am now NOT shopping for long shirts and sweaters to cover it up -

Great workout to break up my afternoon! I'm realizing its time to up the weights for the RDLs. Thinking about investing in some hand straps since the 25s are a bit too heavy for my arms.
