How To Get A BIGGER WIDER BACK (STOP DOING THIS)

Ready to get a bigger WIDER back? Fix these 3 mistakes and you-ll be making gains in no time. The most prevalent problem I see is with form, most people get so stuck on taking everything through a full range of motion that they end up letting supporting muscles jump in and take over the movement. Second is that most gym rats shy away from the more difficult movements, instead of doing bent over rows they opt for seated cable rows which is a great exercise but not a sacrifice you can make every time. Lastly people don-t hit all the muscles in their back and the mid, low traps, rhomboids, lower lats and even some of those important spinal erector muscles get neglected. GET NOTIFIED WHEN DROPS

G'day mate. Massive fan from down under (Australia, not your gooch, though)
Just wanted to say I've massively switched up my training with a few goals in mind.
Wanting to hit a 200% bodyweight deadlift, do some strong-man type events with bending steel bars, as well as hitting the Adonis Index measurements for my body height.
I quit my gym membership and started training at home with a barbell, dumbells, squat rack, bench, and chinup bar.
I'm simply hitting either biceps + chest, triceps + shoulders, back, or legs every day by opening one of your playlists and doing one of your workouts.
I've started also using myfitnesspal, eat this much. com, and drinking 3 protein shakes a day. I've also stopped eating all junk food and fast food.
Every day like clockwork - I've put on 100gs.
I just wanted to say thankyou for helping me begin my weightlifting journey and I hope to one day update you on my results.

Question for you! I-m 61, get injections in my back due to military under aircraft work. I-m 6-2- tall and have been working out off and on since I was 23 and have been ripped when I was around 27 because I lived in the gym! I have a thyroid issue now, so when I see food I can gain weight! I try to get as close as I can to a keto/ healthy life style and intermittent 16/8 to 20/4 fasting a couple times a week up every day! More to the story but that-s enough, I had trained hard before but my right bicep is malfunctioning, probably need to get it checked but I get after it as much as I can! What-s a good protein powder? What suggestions do you have for the disabled people still gettin after it?

Ryan, you-ve changed. you used to bleep the profanity, and your one liners used to zing. I was a fan of your knowledge and the way you presented it. But adding the profanity and getting more crude with the analogies shows your getting lazy in your clever-style. I encourage you you step up your metaphors and keep it fresh, because after all, -profanity is the attempt of a feeble mind to express itself forcibly. - -Spencer W. Kimball.
Great content as always, just hope you level back up to where you once were linguistically.

Back is one area I-ve been disappointed with. it is very strong, and if I push through my fat I have a nice build. however I can-t seem to lose any damn back fat. it got down to just over a half inch thick layer and it just stopped going away. just enough fat across it that it looks terrible to me. no time to get down about it. I-m gonna keep hitting it hard and heavy and either it will start to look better or it won-t!

Inverted row on smith machine, hand spacing 37- pinkie - to - pinkie (instead of scapular retraction as have no access to free motion machine, 1-armed lat pull-ins & db shrugs along with some med-grip pull ups are all I do for upper back. Torso exts ss with hyperextensions takes care of erector spinae & gluteus medius (mebbe quadratus lumborum too.

Not extending your arms fully but making sure that your back is fully stretched/contracted gave me great development. I trained too heavy with bad form previously and created severe joint damage in my elbows (couldn-t extend fully because of bone Spurs) But this technique inadvertently gave me great lat development.

Man, you have helped to change the way I approach working out. For some reason, I was a simple 3 sets of 10 guy, now in pushing to failure with almost every set and (trying) to eliminate rest. I actually come away from lifting out of breath now. Thanks for the motivation, keep pumping out videos.

Ok those pictures basically look the same you body image freak-. Get a life bud! Great being in shape but you know what they say moderation man. Get some other hobbies. You spend way to much time on all the little - details. Maybe get rid of some of your mirrors to. That might help

How much longer til the New Workout program? Love the content. I did the Lat work out hated every bit of but connection was solid. Destroyed my Quads and Glutes. Also by changing my Reps up to 20 and 30s is helping me get out of my growth stunt. Thanks Man!
