Ready to fix your knee pain forever? Here's the deal. if you have knee pain that holds you back it's more often than not it's correctable. you will hear a lot of scary terms like patellofemoral pain syndrome and IT band syndrome and yes there are some cases where you're walking around with someone else's ligaments in your knee because you suck at skiing or you had some abusive dad that forced you to do triathlons from the age of 10 so now you have little to no articular cartilage in your knee but outside of that the pain your feeling is 100% correctable! The first thing you have to do is test to see if we can identify the source. Check you internal and external rotation (internal should be 30-45, external should be 40-60) and test your ankles. This will give you an idea if you need to do the mobility work that I laid out in the beginning of the video. After you correct those then you'll want to dive into biomechanical and muscular imbalances. I focused on abductor and adductor muscles because more often than not those are the culprit, it's possible it's an under-active VMO or Lateralis but in my experience once you take care of those neglected muscles it auto-corrects everything else. Finally we dive into increasing load tolerance, this is for anyone with knee tendonitis. The key is to start slow with a isometric exercises and then slowly build up tolerance by doing controlled movements and then progressing to something more serious like the decline board.

Great video, now how about you treat your videos like your workout and step it up to the next level by focusing on shoulders(injuries, post-op, etc?
Like you said, knees only function in two directions, but shoulders are the most dynamic joint we deal with in and out of the gym. Shoulder surgeries (3 in 10 month on both of them) really mess with you, physically and mentally(muscle pain from gym? No problem. Long term shoulder pain from a prolonged post-op recovery? Problematic.
Rebuilding lost shoulder muscle is a challenge that you are uniquely qualified for.

Thank you for these no bs mobility videos. I just started lifting again after getting fat over the last 4 years. My mobility has always been garbage so these are a huge help in me building that proper foundation for long term gains
Edit: Can you teach me how to touch my toes so I don t feel like I m gonna shit myself every time I reach down to grab the bar for a deadlift or try to tie my shoes?

Exactly what medical specialist can help with this? Every time i go to an MD i wind up at an orthopedic guy and they want to replace my knees. surgery. If thats the only solution, ok, but i would like a. someone who can give me this kind of analysis and suggest some Physical Therapy sorts of solutions (or whatever is in this video) before i give up and have surgery.

I like the maintenance-themed videos. After months of repeating Garage and Full Gym programs I can work on improving form, and keeping injuries to a minimum.
As far as injury goes following the programs, I have experienced ZERO! The only discomfort is DOMS and occasional leg cramps.
These PT tips will be my de-load workouts.

I get some mad clicks when I bend my knee. Even when I walk down the stairs, it's like a bag of crisps being crunched.
Moving my knee cap was scary af! Never done it before!
Finally! Trainers are bad for your body when squatting! No one even says that

I think this video had the Second MOST Offensive thing he's done; shaving the knee and forcing us to look at it. The first, when he shaved his head and it looked like a ball sack. Had to stare at that shit for months.

The content that we've all been waiting for, the smart and the dumb people. You could also use some sort of annotation, just so it would be easier to track what the hell am I supposed to do if one of those needs fixing.

My knee discomfort usually is only there in my first couple of sets on squats. Usually when I go up to 315 or higher my knees feel fine rest of the work out. And I don't have any other knee issues rest of the day.

Claps. Claps. and more claps. This elaborate video is enough for anybody trying to recover from knee issues. Would you be kind enough to tell me where I can get a decline board for a fair price?

The easiest way to summon this video up is just look at knees over toes guy this guy Ryan knows his stuff but if you want to get really in-depth with knee pain trying to fix it knees over toes guy
