Need to build a better bicep peak? Today is all about little tweaks and variations you can do to actively engage the long head of your bicep which is the primary factor in how much your bicep peaks. Few things to note, these variations are for people who really have a hard time connecting with the long head. I still think any variation of drag curls are the ultimate way to target the peak. Here-s a link to my video on different drag curl variations. Leave a comment below and let me know if any of these insights helped you out!

I-ve been watching for some months now (from London England) and today, starting with this particular video, I-ve started writing all these moves down, as I-m going to my lock up/man cave where I train, and I-m forgetting what moves there are, I-ve been training on and off for 20 years and only by watching your videos have I finally realised what it is about training that makes you grow. 1) isolation (which I new already. I find the only way I can grow a particular muscle is when I make sure ONLY that muscle is working - until true failure, 2) keeping EVERY workout fresh and throwing in different variations of moves, which I-m only now realising the importance of just lately, oh and number 3) reps. I-ve abandoned my ego lift workouts of heavy weights and low reps, and listened to your advice, and I-ve grown more since doing so, thank you Ryan for your time taken to break down the moves and for the no bull shit approach to training. Having not seen or spoken to my 4 children in two years thanks to a selfish ex, weight training is one of the main things getting me through, I enjoy focusing and learning about training and dieting as it diverts my mind from depressing thoughts, so thank you for helping me through my ordeal -. Any more diet videos would be good too. I-d be interested in what sort of food you eat daily as I also want to steer away from meat, not fully but more so, I-ve already got well in to lentils and high protein yoghurt. any more food tips? Kind regards from across the pond. Tom.

Hey ryan, love the videos. I've been lifting for what has to be over 20 years now. can you do a video and go a bit more into why you feel 20 reps is better for muscle growth than say 8-12 reps. I will say, I did 20 reps for rows and pulldowns, and my back was sore for the first time in years. I have heard others say high reps is best for size, but just wanted a bit more discussion on it. oh, and your thoughts on training to failure. go to or stop a rep or 2 shy.

The vids are better than the workout app he put out. The app is confusing and the text portion is missing exercises that the vids (of the app) mention. Its also just doing a ton of light weight and doing a shit ton of exercises, I used to work out like that, I dont get much out of it. Doing 80 reps without stopping feels like cardio or is at least a finisher. Seems like he just through it out there. Save your money, I wish I had.

I tried the wall curl from your other bicep long head video and got a fantastic pump. I-ll definitely be adding that exercise to arm day from now on. I-m thinking that those arm-blaster things give a similar pump. Maybe useful if you have no empty wall space? Thanks for the tips and great videos.

Your drag curl are a ass kicker, I started doing them and they kill my bicep. I try different wrist movement to see what kill the muscle. Been doing your workout and can see the gain. Thanks for a straight forward work out.

Best way I've found to do drag curls is lying on the floor, keeping the elbows on the floor and using a cable machine and EZ curl bar. I get some weird looks, mainly as people step over my face, but it is what it is.
